I played 4 first after watching the entirety of the ER. I still fucking love that game. But, there was just something about P3...that game is easily one of my favorite JRPG's of all time. I can't articulate it, all I can say is that I avoided the Mitsuru problem because I did not like using her in battle and my party behaved how they should have for about 99% of the game.

People taking stuff like this as "P3 is awesome, therefore P4 sucks" need to chill. I'm comparing Einstein and Newton here, they're both geniuses (and a bit insane), why can't we enjoy them both? No need to be defensive here because 'lol, relativity was more important than cooling theories"

I really wish this was the US box art :/  I guess if I was that "cool" I'd just print it off and replace my box art.

65 hours between three characters. Sometimes I feel so drawn in, and then other times I just want to spit the Bethesda taste out of my mouth for a week. I think I just want driven, linear experiences anymore. The only part of the game that I thought was interesting was the Thieves Guild, and that was actually very interesting. I still haven't tried the Dark Brotherhood, but from what I can tell 65 hours is probably around the peak Skyrim time for me.

Seriously, going back to play i-III is a little inane in my opinion. I actually think you will gain nothing from them, or you will get 1/4 through I and get disheartened and quit the whole thing. But, whatever, if the payoff is experiencing IV, VI, VIII, IX, X, and XII then it is worth it. I still can't tell from your post if you've played those are not, but either way - they're fucking awesome games and the stories are all very good.

@vidiot: You forgot the two best aspects of VIII; 1) The game being level-adjusted to Squall. 2) Being able to constantly limit-break for the ENTIRE game. God, I love that game, but if you know how to, you can make it a fucking mess of a game.

Avoid the PS1 ports like the plague. Sure, as a kid you'd ignore that shit, but now it is so incredibly frustrating to play those games on the PS1 versions.

So, probably either VIII or IX. VIII can be broken too easily, but if you just play the game casually it is fun and the story is pretty good. IX has an alright story, but the characters are overall some of the best.

All this reminds me of is the woman who sits next you in the "peace treaty" discussion. She literally had a comment for EVERYTHING anyone ever said, and completely threw away every fucking milligram of logic and reason whenever Ulfric so much as farted.

First time in AWHILE that I wanted to strangle a character so bad.

Still want to buy this on PC, eventually going to.

Never played any Hitman games, but this seems to be the most lauded.

Wow, thanks for posting this.

I still haven't heard their music, but it's got two other members from The Black MAges (Michio and Arata, the guitarist and drummer resp.) so I can only expect good things. Might have to import Octave Theory.

I really don't know.

But as long as this isn't a remake with 4E, I'll be fine. If they do that, I can guarantee it will be boring as fuck - the same as wth 4th edition itself.

that CC song is okay. It sounds exactly like what I expect of CC since the Wretched Spawn; alright verse riffs and absolutely brutal breakdowns. Can't wait to hear the new Meshuggah, obZen was a really great album. New Spawn of Possession and Cynic are exciting.

However, I will continue to be bored with metal until Opeth releases something that isn't dog balls nowadays, and when Cryptopsy gets their shit together with Levasseur back on the team and that fuckwit Mounier not using the band as a vessel for his blasting. Give me something that doesn't sound like boring deathcore with phenomenal drumming - anything even relatively close to at least Whisper Supremacy or even Once Was Not is okay in my books.

I cannot wait for Wormed's new release, whenever that's supposed to be out. Suffocation releasing something should be excellent. Defeated Sanity might even release something this year, and that would be my biggest hype if that happens.
