I've seen a ton of local bands ever since I've been doing shows with my band, but a couple of my favorite non-local shows I've gone to are:

Darkest Hour (Dear god, they r-rip it live)
Zao
Slayer
Public Enemy
Gym Class Heroes
Vader
Bolt Thrower
Immolation
Incantation

EDIT: How could I forget Misery Signals? Band's a beast.

Every mediocre RPG on the PS1, such as Granstream Saga...*shudder*

But, I was young and impressionable. I've now grown to check GiantBomb.com for all my stupid video game purchases.

It's the game. It's better on the PC (the frame rate that is), but not by too much. Prepare for the end of the game though, you will be enjoying the set-piece and combat...and then you'll be moving at 12 FPS.

Again, as far as I'm aware, its the game and it can't really be fixed on the 360 (?).

RAM - 3.0 GB DDR2

GFX - Radeon 5770 (It was a gift, I would've bought a CPU first, myself)

I recently bought higher-end hardware, but unfortunately it won't arrive any time soon (due to lay away and my cheap ass self). What I'm really worried about is my CPU. I'm willing to knock back resolutions and turn off motion-blur (if that is included) to run it on low levels currently.  My GFX is fine as is, but my CPU is only a 2.2 GHz Dual-core, and I was worried that I would be spending $60 two-three months too early.

So, will ME2 run somewhat competently (read as: at all) with what I have for now? I mean, once I've paid everything in full it won't be an issue but I'm curious.

EDIT: For some sort of benchmarking, I can run FEAR 2 on 960x600 (a little odd for 4:3, but it looks fine for a shooter) with maximum graphical details and all anti-aliasing on, but with that chopped res. and hit a good 50+ FPS or so (just eyeballin' it).

Yes, I do. Some Japanese metal, some Brazilian thrash, a lot of French black metal, and a whole ton of J-Pop and video game soundtracks. Some opera and such for school, and its good, but it feels like work listening to it on the side.

Fallout 3. I loved Oblivion, I love the Fallout games, so this seemed like a magical dream game. However, the faux-FPSing and the bad, half-broken repair system combined with the lackluster plot strung together by two very good actors  made for me feelign very regretful for buying it day one, when it was the only game I could have bought for months. Oh, and VATS is a poor excuse for gameplay, or it puts on an image of the developers only getting around to playing it a couple of months before release and saying, "Oh shit! This game has horrid shooting! Put in some kind of auto-aim!" and so it was.

F.E.A.R. (PS3 version). I loved it on the PC, but lost all the discs, and bought the PS3 version because I thought it would be just as good. No.

Every Dynasty Warriors game I ever bought on day one (which is one, or all of them really). For some reason I love the stupid-ass hack up 1500 bandits with a spear and magic gameplay, but I've only paid about 70 USD for four or five DW games...50 of which was for Dynasty Warriors 2, or 3 or something. I really hate myself for spending any amount of money on these things, more than anything.

Was it Impossible Creatures? That's early 00's, but sounds a lot like what you're describing.

I'd heard of the games but never really felt like they were games I wanted to waste money on, on Steam.

What are they like, stylistically?

Either Devin Townsend or...y'know what, Devin Townsend wins.

Everything from Terria, to Ocean Machine, to City is a bizarre masterwork that this crazy Canadian made. Strapping Young Lad is one of my favorite metal bands, and one of the best in sticking to substance over stupid technicality.

Skeksis is a prime example of the greatness.
