  I think it works fine where you don't have NPCs explicitly aking you questions and somehow, magically receiving an answer from you that they then reiterate.I always thought it worked well in Half Life, and at this point any voice given to Freeman would be seen by fans as "the wrong fit", so he may as well continue being silent
