I'm at the point where I'm starting to care less now. I try not to look at achievements or trophies before I start playing a game. That way I can just focus on enjoying the game instead of worrying about whether or not I messed up unlocking an achievement or earning a trophy.
@MormonWarrior: That's fair. The gameplay left something to be desired for sure, it was kind of clumsy and awkward. The story and the characters were enough to keep me interested, but I didn't mind the gameplay so much even though it had its shortcomings.
I just bought a PS3 as well and am stocking up on cheap back-catalog games at the moment. Haven't really gotten the chance to play any yet, but hopefully you find what you're looking for and enjoy your new PS3.
