Yeah I think it's probably too late for them to completely replace or even redesign entire missions.

@glottery: From what I've seen of it on twitch yesterday, it certainly looks bland and unimaginative, but not as bad as people made it out to be. It's basically the DmC debacle all over again, so trust nobody but yourself on this one I guess.
I really like first person stealth games so I hope it's good but I'm probably gonna wait for a price drop.
Think back to the time when all you knew before going into a game was what you read of it in a single review in a paper magazine, with half a dozen screenshots, and maybe one or two previews before that. Think of how much we see of games before playing them now. We have access to hours of youtube videos, hundreds of forum threads on how the game works, interviews, reviews, previews, etc. It's obvious the experience of actually playing the game is different when you know so much about it beforehand.
I'm not saying one approach is necessarily better than the other, I'm not saying knowing everything about a game makes it inherently less good, in fact I don't really care myself. However I am saying that it's absolutely crazy to not understand that some people want to know as little as possible before playing a game. That is perfectly reasonable. And yes of course you can spoil a mechanic, it's a video game. The idea that only major plot points and plot twists are spoilers is mad, especially for a game based around the player discovering the mechanics for themselves... And as was said above, all you have to do is click a button.
@jadegl: I don't know... People strongly disagree with her, it doesn't mean they think she shouldn't be allowed to speak her mind.
There's no good story-based reason to exclude women from the main narrative in GTA5.
Did they do that? Off the top of my head, I count 4 female characters that are central to the main story. One of them being Tanisha, who may be the only reasonable person in this entire game.
There are definitely more men than women in the game, but they didn't quite go full Reservoir Dogs either.
"I have a baaaad feeling about this."
"Don't you die on me damn it!"
"What have I done!"
"Don't do anything stupid!"
Also, any line spoken by a bad guy as he's about to kill someone, only to get killed himself, like "diiie!" or "no one can save you now!"
I'm not the biggest expert but I think it's way overkill, except for the graphics card, strangely enough.
I would get a cheaper CPU (an i5 is enough for gaming, but you could even get an i7 4770 for half the price and no difference in performance), a cheaper motherboard (you don't need anything above ~$200 unless you're using multiple GPUs and tons of fans or if you want the absolute best overclocking performance), a cheaper power supply (1050W for a single GTX670? whoever came up with this build is bonkers), basically a cheaper everything, and get a better video card instead.
It's hard to know how demanding games will be in two years, with all these fancy new engines and all, but since you seem to have a pretty high budget I'd recommend something high-end, like a GTX 780ti.
