Games that show promise but I just haven't purchased/played yet.

Just a short list of some games (franchises) that I've kind of wanted to pick up and play but haven't gotten around to yet. I don't really shell out the $60 when a game comes out fresh off the line and I usually wait till' a console is "last generation" before I go browsing for a lot of titles. I like to pick up games in bulk and then just kind of go through them all in a few sittings.

List items

  • I remember playing a little of this one once upon a time but didn't think much of it. I didn't really give it "time of day" back then and being that I'm a huge STAR WARS I bet it's pretty good if you just give it half a chance.

  • With not playing the first one I didn't really try this out out either but figured it certainly had to make improvements on whatever there was that the first one had to offer.

  • After viewing some stuff all around the web on this one, I figure it's probably a damn good gaming experience and I should check into it at some point.

  • I remember watching trailers and stuff for this one when it's launch was coming up and it looked pretty damn cool. I figure with the release of the second one coming up I should probably finally figure out what all the hype is about.

  • After playing some of the old titles and watching some video on this one I was kind of drawn in from the start. I mean I know it is (for the most part) just a refashioned beat-em-up but hey... those were fun as hell in the old days so the nostalgia factor may be just what I'm looking for in a "reboot" game.

  • After getting a lot of joy out of the first playing experience I was really eager to go snatch up this title but just never really got around to it yet. Probably should with title 3 being slated for shipment.

  • This game has been sitting on my gaming shelf since last X-Mas (2011') since by older brother got it for me. I'm not usually too on top of keeping my XBL renewed and was told it's a better experience when played with a friend so I really just haven't gotten around to playing this one either. I hear good things about Left 4 Dead 2 being even better so I guess I should probably get around to playing this one sometime in the near future and then maybe picking up the second one.

  • This game made a big splash and kind of BORDERLANDS was a sleeper hit which surprised the company far beyond expectations. Stores scrambled to keep copies on the shelf and now with it's initial popularity kind of winding down I figure it might be worth a shot if I can find a used copy for a reasonable price.
