The worst part for me is when it comes time to deciding which order the games are put in. There are some strong personalities in that room, that year after year will keep speaking and become increasingly aggressive and pedantic in order to get what they personally want. I feel like the idea of this being Giant Bombs top ten is lost on most people there, instead we get people arguing over if they like a game more than someone else likes another game.

It's pointless, doesn't go anywhere and always results in one person giving up because they can't be bothered anymore. In the end the whole goal of creating a site top ten is lost and we end up with an extremely tilted list based on the views of a couple of people instead of a representation of the entire staffs.

Thanks for doing this. I've made my own in the past and it's one of the reason I've begun to find it intolerable to listen to the podcast for the top 10.

I know the staff would never go for this, but it makes so much more sense and is a true depiction of what "Giant Bombs" top ten games of the year is, instead of "Who can be the most persistent in the podcast room".

It's not so much I have a problem with using different digital distribution services for different games. I'll happily use Steam, Origin and Battle.net, but only because those services work well.

I've been unfortunate enough to use Uplay twice before (From Dust and Watchdogs) and both times it was a less then stellar performance on their part. Buggy, slow, unpredictable. If they can iron out the kinks though I'll be happy to use it too.

Everyone always forgets what a shit show Steam was to begin with.

Most intelligent thing I've seen a developer do in quite some time.

Let's hope they're a trend setter. The sooner we can cut off the infected limb that is last-gen the quicker we can move on.

What's that you say?

Nintendo are releasing a new console?

Which is a minor upgrade of the previous one?

And it's creating confusion?

I'm shocked.

"Oculus has the chance to create the most social platform ever, and change the way we work, play and communicate."

"We believe virtual reality will be heavily defined by social experiences that connect people in magical, new ways..."

Why does that word send shivers down my spine? Can any good come of this? It feels like Oculus just sold it's soul to the Devil.

It's made by Valve. That means I already believe it works better than any other controller in existence.

I'm not that interested in playing pc games on my tv, I like the way I have things set up now. But I could easily see myself using this controller when for certain games instead of the 360 controller I use now.

Valve design has always been top of the class and I believe they must have put a ton of research into getting to this point. So if this is what they're showing us now then it must work beautifully.

I don't think it's what Ryan would want, and more importantly I think the entire community needs the staff and the staff need the community.

I think it's going to be good for everyone to keep things moving, keep up the energy, as Ryan did so effectively whenever he was present.

If that back and forth between staff and community can continue then it will help the healing process. No one is going to pretend nothing has happened, but I believe it's best to celebrate a person's life and achievements. This site is a great achievement of Ryans, he was instrumental in building this incredible community (including the staff).

So let's band together, now more than ever. Of course if the guys need time alone with their thoughts then that's what should happen, but I think it's healthier for all involved to stay active and talk about this.

Frankly I find it hilarious how this guy couldn't resist trying to slip in more of the great features that only X-Box One can offer. Even in an interview such as this where his only message should have been "We hear you, you're pissed, this is how we're going to try and make it right" it's in his blood to try put a spin on everything. I almost feel sorry for him but I'm sure he only got where he is today but completely believing what he's saying. Frankly that shows exactly why Microsoft have got themselves into this situation in the first place.

It's been a long road, but it's great to have you back with the rest of the guys. This feels right and I can't tell you how much I look forward to seeing you on camera with everyone else. So make an appearance as much as you can!
