I posted a review of Hydrophoibia for the 360. Now I noticed afterwards there was no associated star rating - I wanted to give it 3.5 stars so I tried to edit - no joy couldn't get the stars changed.
I then deleted it - think I could copy and paste it back in - no joy! Now I can't even get the original zero star review to show!
I think it's to do with Microsoft not allowing achievements on free DLC and Valve wanting the achievements in... Bit pointless if that is true as the achievements in Valves 360 games tend to be a bit glitchy...
One thing I would say is the 360 version is supposedly less prone to lag than the PC version, although you can get user created content for the PC version. They both have their pro's and cons, 560 points isn't a massive price - particularly if you picked up L4D for £10 off Ebay.
I heard about a martial artist guy who spent so long training JUST on breathing - that eventually he HAD to keep thinking about breathing or he passed out through asphixiation.... Couldn't give you a reference though,
I seem to get kicked at times for no aparrent reason... I can only guess it's because the team I've joined wants to try a glitch and doesn't want to share it. It seems to happen mainly when I join an ongoing game rather than a lobby. I suppose it's possibly down to people being annoyed that they've ploughed through the start of the level/campaign and you are joining late?
I suppose in expert games it could be down to friendly fire incidents, but I tend to FF only really when some idiot runs in front of me just as I'm about to shoot!
I've recently bought Tropico 3 for the XBOX 360 - something of a bargain bin purchase, selected on more of a whim than anything...
I'm actually pleasantly surprised, I usually dislike management sim games on a console, but seeing Tropico 3 on my 42" television has changed my mind. It's surprisingly playable and quite interesting from the quasi-factual elements of the game mechanics.
Plus it makes a change from mowing down zombies... (Ref: Left4Dead)
I'm trying to get an in depth guide to playing online, so far we have about half a dozen contributors, and a solid guide up for Vega, Honda and Deejay with some basics up for some of the other characters. Anyone interested in reading or contributing please see:
