Last one of these mini faqs I'll do for the day. I'll merge all this stuff into the help section later in the week.
Our Promise
If the community can control themselves from uploading watermarked images to wiki pages, we as a website, promise never to watermark our own images. Put simply, watermarking content within an industry that prides itself on it's openness to distributed content is silly.
How can I add an image to [Page Name]
Go to the page you want to add an image too. Go to the images section on the left, then click the "add image" button at the top right. From here you can upload an image directly or uses the tabs in the popup to search for another image on the site and add that image into that page. Once uploaded you'll be asked to attach that image to galleries within that content page. When adding screenshots, please attach the image not only to the platform screenshots (Xbox 360 screenshots) but also to the general screenshots gallery as well. Platform galleries are automatically created anytime a new game is made. If you want to add a new gallery, you can do that when uploading the image. Just click the add new gallery area, name your gallery (say "weapons" in the Gears of War page). Only one new gallery can be made during each image upload sequence, so please make sure to do all image attachments for new galleries all at once.
Moderation
Images are then moderated. We check to make sure watermarks are not added and that appropriate galleries were attached. You can view your personal image queue within your pending subs page.
No nudity please
Please no nudity anywhere in the wiki or the forums. The exception is where nudity is actually a screenshot within the game itself. Even in this case, only keep those images tied to the specific game it was in.
