Games With Monster Girls

  • The first "boss" is the Ant Queen. She's actually invincible, and Ted has to unseal his Soul Eater rune in order to destroy her. In the game's closing chapter the party can encounter a serpentine Ekidonna (Echnidna would be a more appropriate translation) as a random battle. She is the highest level enemy in the game, and has the largest potch reward as well as begin the only source of Windspun Armor.

  • A harpy appears as a boss. An early boss made out of mist will also take a female form when casting magic.

  • No fewer than five mermaids can join the hero's crew in this Suikoden installment.

  • Natla, an ancient possibly immortal Atlantean demi-god, hires Lara to find some trinkets for her. She and Lara don't see eye to eye on some political issues, so Lara dunks her in lava. She then comes back with wings and a biological gun grafted onto her arm. Lara puts her down with small arms fire and then drops an island on her for good measure.

  • Same as above, only now Lara has daddy issues, and Natla fairs much worse from the lava bath. Also Scorched Natla is an unlockable character skin, minus the wings and energy balls, of course.

  • Surprise, Natla's not dead! Instead she's been kept as a pet by Lara's friend Amelia. Against her better judgement Lara lets her out and, of course, she tries to end the world yet again. She might have gotten away with it too if she'd stopped before mentioning that she killed Lara's father. Her dunk in Norse zombie-juice takes a lot more out of her than the lava did, and after her doppleganger clone of Lara becomes self-aware her second dunk almost assuredly ends her.

  • Succubi appear in one spawn in one location in the entire game. Mandragora are slightly more common, and have a nasty attack that hits the whole party. Harpies are the most common, and when they start appearing in parties they'll bust out party-wide 80% heal spells.

  • Lady Vashj is part of the naga expeditionary force to the surface, and she joins up with Illidan, eventually following him all the way to Outland. Like almost every other named character from Frozen Throne she was offed in WoW: Burning Crusade.

  • Warlocks summon succubi because they are skilled at stunning opponents in PVP. And that is the only reason. Really.

  • You would be forgiven for thinking that the demonic P2 character is a boy before playing as Player 2. Once ranking up a few times, however, her costume changes leave nothing to doubt.

  • Fuuka Tamagushi is a travelling shrine maiden with no memory of her past. Eventually it turns out that she is the personification of the legendary monster Orochi.

  • Every vaguely monstrous thing in this game is girl-shaped. Each piece of a set of cursed evil armor turns into an individual monster girl. The end boss is a giant penis monster that creates monster girls.

  • So far I've seen mermaids and both the Sphinx and Medusa as bosses.

  • Wee Ming has the unfortunate ability to turn anyone she sees into monsters if she is splashed with blood. This manifests itself in a bordello when she transforms all the girls into demons.

  • She Devils show up as weak random monsters in the swamps of the water island. The Love Monster appears in the final area of the game, and it is... something. It's a gyrating feminine silhouette that constantly repeats 'I love you' is different pitches.

  • The PSX version's monsters are strictly cartoonish and asexual, but the new monsters added to Azure Dreams GB are much closer to classic RPG staples. Koh runs into succubi, undine, medusa, and vevil(a dragon-girl) on his trek through the monster tower's basement.

  • A deep space colony is infected by a virus that turns all the women into bio-mechanical killing machines.

  • Of the game's many marriage candidates one if a mermaid who reverts to fishy form in the rain, while another is half-phoenix.

  • After being defeated each of the dungeon boss monsters becomes a human that can be married by appropriate male or female protagonists.

  • One of the "secret" marriage candidates is a mermaid. In the "cute" remake she can still be married even though the protagonist is female, and they can *still* have a child together.

  • The "companion" of the game is Nada Naga, as seen on the cover. Technically the Demoness Metira is a companion too, but like all the other companions she'll get you killed as soon as the game starts.

  • I have stayed as far away form this game as possible, but apparently one of the bosses is a giant Medusa with snake-legs.

  • The third area the avatar must restore is an underwater city of mermaids.

  • Helena's sister Deborah gets a nasty injection of the newest iteration of the T-Veronica virus. It turns her into a naked slimy spidery thing.

  • True to the manga storyline Sirene appears as one of the level bosses, fighting first on her own and later merged with Kaim.
