  • Simply stunning from start to finish in every respect. Uncharted 3 can't come soon enough.

  • It's not very often when an RPG has you so engrossed that you feel as though you're playing an epic movie like Lord of the Rings. Every action has an appropriate reaction and different people can view you differently, as opposed to the black and white of "paragon" and "renegade" that Bioware has done in the past. I'll be playing through this game many times before I get sick of it.

  • As a kid, one of my favorite games was Super Metroid. Although the newer Metroid Prime games were good and all, I never enjoyed them the way that I was hypnotized by the SNES version. Shadow Complex brings back a ton of great memories, and with tons of neat weapons and gadgets, an awesome feeling physics engine and a great story to boot, I jumped all over this game for $15. One of the best video game bargains ever.

  • I had my doubts about this game before it was released. The idea of having an FPS with RPG elements that is primarily focused on grinding and PvE gameplay reminded me of a certain not so hot game *cough* Hellgate London *cough*.

However, upon getting to play this gem, I was hooked from the get go. I already have 1 level 50 character and am currently working on getting a siren to the next milestone. I expect big things from Borderlands 2.

  • I've been a huge fan of Resident Evil since the first game came in a huge box and didn't have "director's cut" on it. Although RE5 is more of the RE4 formula, with few additions, that's not a bad thing. The game is fantastically fun to play, ties up a lot of loose ends with the story, and has a bunch of fun collectibles, in addition to co-operative play. The only real complaint I have is that the partner AI is stupid when playing by yourself. Luckily I never had to resort to that.

  • Batman games have a surprisingly good track record in my opinion (although a lot of people wouldn't agree with me). Right from the NES games, I've had a ton of game with most of the Batman games released (although I haven't played the Genesis ones. I've heard they aren't so hot).

This one raised the bar to new heights. With talented voice acting, gritty artwork and badass, easy to learn gameplay, Batman: Arkham Asylum is a blast to play from start to finish.

  • Although not quite as good as the original Modern Warfare in my opinion, the sequel is still a blast to play, and has a surprisingly good story for a first person shooter.

  • Fat Princess takes an entirely unique concept and goes all the way with it. At an extremely affordable price (gogo PSN), Fat Princess has some catchy tunes, great artwork, and a manic and wacky gameplay that never gets boring. A

  • This was the one of the first games in the current gen. to really make me say "wow" upon playing it. This game is not only entertaining, but an extreme improvement over the previous games in the series.
