Solarus: XBox 360 collection.

Right now it's incomplete. Since I apparently can't change the title of this one, I'll have to put all my games up here eventually. I'll do it at some point, but it's going to be a long list. Please note that these games are currently in no particular order (I may change that some day).

List items

  • A region-free Japanese exclusive bullet hell shooter. Made by famed shmup developer CAVE, this game is unbelievably fun and contains more game-types and modes than you can shake a stick at. Suitable for the most casual to the most hardcore out there (Ultra makes this the single most difficult game I've ever played). Highly recommended for those willing to import and looking for good, challenging fun.

  • Sequel to the highly regarded Ninja Gaiden for the Xbox, this game has the same level of exciting action, with a little more gore and gratuitous violence. Still as difficult as ever. For fans of good action games.

  • A Medieval RPG with an extremely deep storyline and a very in-depth character relations system. Characters are highly customizable with skill trees and stat point allotments, and heaps of quests and origins make the replay value high.

  • Can't really say much about this game that hasn't already been said: It's great fun and an interesting concept (a multiplayer primarily PvE shooter with RPG elements). Achievements are extremely simple for those willing to grind to level 50. Different character classes with very different skills while not necessarily having any "cookie cutter builds" helps make your character feel unique.

  • Bioware game? Check. Sci-Fi with tons of side-questing and exploration? Check. Fun? Double check. Feels like you're playing an epic movie and never gets boring. Can't wait for the sequel.

  • Fun game, although I haven't had much chance to play it other than a normal play-through with little exploration. I have to come back to this.

  • The marketing team should get an award for this. I bought this game because it seemed really impressive in trailers and pre-release interviews. Unfortunately, it's terrible. Stay well away.

  • Not a bad racing game, although outside of Gran Turismo I never really did get into the whole realistic racing game genre. Got it free with a year's subscription to Xbox LIVE.

  • Not a half bad game, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel a bit let down. Controls are a lot less fluid and more restrictive than in Ninja Gaiden 2. It's definitely not terrible, but it's certainly no Devil May Cry 3.

  • Best deal of all time? Pretty much. Worth the money for Portal and Team Fortress alone.

  • Extremely satisfying LIVE Arcade game. Many reasons to replay, and should be a model for Arcade games to follow.

  • Very cognitive game. For those interested in Time flow mechanics and puzzle games, this is right up your alley.

  • At 800 points on LIVE, this game is great for fans of Shmups. Scoring mechanics may be too restrictive for more casual players though. For everyone else, the polarity system is very fun.

  • For fans of Metal Slug, this is the best game in the series. For those who've never played Metal Slug, this is the one to try.

  • I love the guys at Team Ninja mainly for the Ninja Gaiden games, but the DoA series is also very strong. I'd recommend giving this one a shot if you want to play a fighting game that's a little bit unorthodox while retaining key qualities that make fighting games great.

  • I love bullet hell shooters. With that in mind, I was ecstatic when I learned that one of CAVE's games had actually been published Stateside. I had this game pre-ordered for months and was more than happy with it when it finally did come out. The faceplate for this game is currently on my XBox 360.

  • When I bought my XBox 360, there were no games in the store that had any real appeal to me. Thinking that it would be foolish to buy an XBox 360 without any games to play for it, I saw this stinker on the shelf for $19.99. "Hey, it's Bomberman. It can't be that bad" I thought to myself. It was definitely that bad. It was the first and will definitely be the last time I buy a game without reading up anything on it. At leas the free gamerpics it came with are kind of cool...

  • I saw this in EB games brand new for $12. Remembering that the reviews for this were so-so, I felt the price was right to give it a shot. The game had some interesting ideas and I felt the story definitely had some potential. Unfortunately, the gameplay gets really repetitive after the first hour or so and the story is the only thing that will really motivate you to finish.

  • I had this game pre-ordered months before it came out in anticipation. Mass Effect 2 succeeded not only in being worthy of the Mass Effect name, but also managing to surpass its lofty predecessor in many regards. Definitely one of, if not THE best game of 2010.

  • This is a game I have to come back to. I played through the first half of the game and then just kind of... Stopped. I actually find the game to be pretty fun, although a few more story elements could probably be incorporated. The scenery is really cool and especially awesome when noting the difference between a dark and lifeless area and one that is brimming with life and colorful after liberating it.

  • $20 for 48 games? Hell yeah! Although a lot of the games on this title are fillers, having almost all of the old classic Sonic games, as well as the Streets of Rage series, Golden Axe series and Phantasy Star series makes this worth far more than its price tag.

  • Call of Duty Black Ops is actually a pretty fun game. The single player story is very impressive and the online multiplayer is pretty fun. Bringing back the invisible line of infinite enemy respawns in single player is a terrible move on the developer's part though.

  • This game is all about the scenery and there's lots of it. A very graphically impressive game in the artistic sense, Limbo is a surprisingly sinister world when you look at your small and clueless looking character. Controls are very tight and responsive and death animations are widely varying.

  • New classic Mega Man game on XBL Arcade? Hell yeah! This game is every bit as awesome as the oldies on the NES, keeping everything intact. If you like retro games, you should buy this without question.

  • Although I didn't feel it lived up to the masterpiece that was Mega Man 9, Mega Man 10 is still a very awesome game that I'm quite impressed with. If you liked Mega Man 9, rest assured you're going to like this one as well.
