Final Fantasy VIII is the Deadly Premonition of JRPGs; utterly enthralling, for better or worse.

Just when I though I could totally skip this one, they went and put Sektor in. Goddamnit.

If you are dead set on AMD CPUs, newegg has a sale on the FX-8350 right now.

Ooh that looks pretty good. is there any case for intel? They just seem so much more expensive. I'm not hardcore about AMD, they just seem to be the best bang for your buck when you don't got alot of bucks.

I know that alot of people are screaming about some conspiracy against AMD video cards with new releases but I played some of those games with my ancient 5770 and it seemed fine although the last couple games I played on PC I had to play on low settings and also those people sound like total crazy people.

I have an 8350 and it's good! I definitely saw a noticeable increase in performance when I got it. But..Intel is better for gaming specifically. 8 cores sounds rad, but in reality, pretty much the only game that is optimized to use all 8 cores is Battlefield 4. an 8350 is worth getting if you can get it at a good price, but if you can, I would go for an i5.

You are right though in that the price:preformance ration tends to be a little bit moe in AMD's favor though.

Is it just me, or are there some hidden balance changes in this patch? Poison resistance seems a lot lower now, and some enemies poison now that I don't remember (like the werewolf at the bottom of Old Yharnam). I also feel like I'm just taking more damage over all, and dealing slightly less. Or maybe i'm just a crazy person.

It's fine. You'll do yourself no harm by playing it, but there are also better games from that era to go back to.

Jaywalking in a thing in America because the major automobile manufacturers push the laws through in the 1920's in order to shift the blame when a pedestrian was hit to the pedestrian, rather than the automobiles which at the time traveled too fast for their breaking systems and resulted in a lot of people getting hit because roads were still primarily used for foot traffic.

Doomtrain is hands down the best thing to come out of Final Fantasy VIII, and probably the entire franchise.

Unless one of them is a cyborg-ninja, I will continue to not care about MKX.
