This may have been the last strike on the Phantasy Star series coming over to other parts of the world, as SEGA West has officially announced at this time no plans whatsoever bringing Phantasy Star NOVA localized to the United States and Europe. This also means getting Phantasy Star Online 2 is in a "snowball's chance" of it ever coming out of Japan.

SEGA Addicts contacted SEGA of America about seeing NOVA having a Western release. SoA'sKellie Parker replied back, saying:

'"There are currently no plans to release Phantasy Star Nova in the western market. Should this change, we will ensure the information is shared as soon as possible."

Guess I'll stop waiting and just play the Japanese version of PSO2 already... :'(

@natetodamax: Hey... is this still up somewhere? I need this.

If someone could send it to me, I'll host it.

Thanks, that does sound familiar. I'll check it out and skim the Bombcasts from around that time.

I've been searching for a bit, but I can't seem to find the episode where they talk about the lack of a "tell all" book about the video game industry and then I think Brad and Patrick and maybe Vinny started listing book recommendations such as "Game Over, Press Start to Continue: How Nintendo Conquered the World" and whatnot.

Does anyone know which episode this was, or at least which books they recommended?

The Pinball Arcade will never be greenlit. Ever.

It should've been a game about zombies trying to kill Ryo Hazuki instead.

The zombies would be all "Diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiooooooooooooooo"...

I know I was being a bit extreme with the title, but man this is beyond unacceptable. They have to be fucking with us.

I can live with the blurred sprites since whatever, at least the game is playable, but I bought the PS3 version specifically to use my Neo stick.

I'm a crazy person so I bought the 360 version as well. Guess I'll use my TE stick.

1. You can't toggle the bullshit blur filter on the character sprites.

2. The PS3 version of the game doesn't support wired (most or all, not sure) USB controllers. Specifically the NeoGeo Stick 2 that I'm trying to use.

Good thing I bought the 360 version of the game as well since I'm a crazy person, right? I own a TE stick even, but I just don't care anymore.

SKNP is garbage, I'm done.

Fuckin' port terrorists.
