I really should get round to playing Max Payne 1+2, I hear that they are removing the more fantastical elements from the series though. Not sure if I made this up but I seem to recall friends talking about werewolves in the originals which sounded kind of neat though it could just be my mind's gradual decent into madness however.
Dawn of Sorrows was the only DS castlevania game that I actually finished. Not saying the others aren't any good, its just that Dawn of Sorrows just seemed to gel better for me.
My advice would be pick up which ever one you can find cheapest, you can't go all to far wrong with any of them.
Gahh- I've had eve on my steam list for about 2 years now but I have never once taken the plunge. A 21 day trial seems like a nice thing to have though so I might be tempted to enter the world of EVE on that basis. I agree with @MattadorD though, if you could do an EVE blog it would be amazing just to give some of us outsiders a glimpse into what goes on in that surreal game.
I started listening to the podcast regularly in 2010, so that has to be the one I vote for. Until now I hadn't heard the 2008 or 9 versions and while they do sound pretty sweet they're just missing the nostalgia factor for me.
For me, I just want a graphical update. I love the sprites don't get me wrong, I just would dearly love to see a game in the main series adopt a polygonal style for a change.
