@Napalm: That's true. I guess I was just being a bit too butthurt for a game I really enjoyed. >.<;; I dunno, I just find it to be a bit annoying when I see an extreme bias for something being all thrown in my face. I tend to get a little wound up in my own fandom. If he had been showing a ton of love for that game and all the references, this thread wouldn't exist and a "I hate Scott Pilgrim, that game needs to die, it's for hipsters" thread would be here instead, I guess.
My relationships are Love/Hate. Cracked is the first on that list.. I go just to read one list that a friend linked and then I'm there just looking at ALL OF THEM. Then there's Topless Robot. I love it for Fan Fiction Fridays, but sometimes I can't think straight after all the horror. Last is Facebook. Somehow I can be on for the longest time. And I am doing NOTHING. Fuck.
I agree with Spike here. You seem pretty set on getting a PS3 already. They have a ton of JRPG exclusives and stuff. I am just going to kind of stop there because everything that's needed to be said has been said. >.>
" Not to mention that the game is ridiculously fun. I figure the QL is good enough, they don't really need to review it. "
@SniperXan said:
" The Quick look was surprisingly negative I really don't think I want a review. "
These statements pretty much sum it up. A few of the user reviews *cough* weren't so bad. I don't think I'd want to read a review by the staff after that super negative and biased QL.
@Genjai: I was only 4 when it came out, I wasn't 5 'til about a month later. :P The only jokes I ever got out of were hamburgers in the trash can. Everything else was wayyy over my head. I never beat the game 'til I was about 13. Started getting some of it then, played again when I was 18. And that game has aged incredibly well. =) You should post more 'til you finish or get to Moonside. Moonside is the main stopping point for most people I know.
