Ok you got me

I rented warriors Orochi from gamefly the other day and i have to say im done.  I have been playing dynasty warriors since 2 released on the ps2 and i was one of those guys that kept saying even though there are slight changes in each game, they are still good.  I was one of those people that jeff couldnt figure out.  As of yesterday a am mo longer one of those people.  It just drives me crazy how moves and character models are just copied.  I mean i got sick of halo after halo 3, but at least halo odst cleaned up the graphics and tweaked the gameplay enough to keep it interesting.  I admit i am a gamer who gets burned out on playing the same game over and over.  I at least try to be playing 2 different games at one time so i can keep from getting bored of one or the other by taking time between the 2.  But for some reason i had some special nestalgia for the dynasty warriors series.  But after going to china, japan, the world of gundam, and then them throwing crap all over the place im done.  No more warriors crap for me.

Any one else had a franchise kinda just go dull on them? im interested to see what else has been battered to death.

My list of shame

I think of myself as an above average gamer.  If im really into a shooter ill bounce around 1.4-2 kill death ratio.  If theres an rpg ill fly through the story and on to the next one.  If there is a boss giving me trouble ill grind it out till he is dead, but im only human.  No matter how good i think i am at games there are a few that have gotten the better of me.  these are high quality games that i havent ever beat and regret it.  So laugh it up you jerks.

1.  Dragon Quest 8- i dont know why this happend i guess i just lost touch with this one.  There was a little grinding but ive done more for games of less caliber.

2.  Shadow of Colossus:  This got repetetive on me over half way through and i just stopped.

3.  DMC 3:  i heard the special edition gets easier, but i played on all difficulty levels to get enough experience to to try to beat it on easy eventually getting stuck in all my saves.  this game kicked my ass.

4.  Final Fantasy 4:  All this grinding drove me insane.  I had just beat those three guys one after another and was leaving this big castle thing and just wasnt high enough level.

5.  Mega man x:  like all mega mans of the same calibre this was insanly hard.  I dont have the patience although this game is still sitting in my collection beckoning to be played.

6.  Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion- This one will not be so long.  I usually just do the main story of rpgs and a small amount of side stuff, but i got lost in the side stuff early which is perfectly fine, but my pc died and i havent started back since because of troubles getting my 360 to play it.  Ill be trying again soon *fingers crossed*

7.  Eternal Darkness Sanity's Requiem:  I believe i was at the very last section of one of the best gamecube games ever and just couldnt finish this is probably the one i want to go back to the most but never will.

8.  Advance Wars dual Strike:  i love a good strategy game.  I got pretty far in this one. and then just hit a wall.  Couldn't grind my way out of it and just stopped.

9.  Tales of symphonia:  ive finished a tales game or two, just fell out with this one.  I dont even think i was stuck, but got tired of tapping buttons.  Which is odd because i love tales of vesperia which is somewhat similiar.

10.  Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts:  i hated banjo kazooie for N64.  I bought this because it was different and i was excited.  With good reason this game is awesome, but i hate building stuff.  I felt like i was having to build a vehicle for every challenge after i got deep into the game.  it ends there.

So what games have escaped your list of complete?  and why?
thx for reading
