Just read that Spotify will start supporting video podcasts (https://www.theverge.com/2020/7/21/21332584/spotify-video-podcasts-feature-upload) so... is this something GB would perhaps use too?
Go have a beer at Hanneke's Boom ('Boom' means tree in Dutch btw). It's very near the Central Station, it's on the water and you have an amazing view over the Science Museum: (check out more pictures at their FB)
If you're already near the Central Station, you could check out the recently opened Adam Tower, (take the ferry behind the station over the water) which offers a really cool view over the city. It has a swing at the top that allows you to swing over the side of the building. It's crazy, its dumb, it could be fun...? Also, the elevator ride to the top is pretty wild.

The center of town, de Dam, is reeeeally touristy, but if it's your first time you should probably have a look. It's got the royal palace, as well as some good shopping.
We got this thing called 'Amsterdam Light Festival' now, which is really cool- a bunch of artists made these fantastic light sculptures that are placed alongside the canals all over the city. You can buy a ticket for a boat ride that will take you past all these sculptures. I haven't been yet but a couple of my friends and family been on it and say it's amazing.
If you're the clubbing type, we got those too. The big concert venues in the center are Paradiso and De Melkweg (the Milky Way), good assortment of international bands and djs. If you're more into house / techno, check out De School (which is basically trying to be Amsterdam's answer to Berlins Berghain), de Marktkantine or a new club called Claire which is a bit more friendly.
If you decide to rent a bike and you're not used to travelling this way, be prepared for a pretty hectic experience especially in the center of town. Amsterdam has been getting more and more popular over the years so there are certain parts in the center that are not very novice bikerider friendly. Just be careful. :)
Lately (last week) I've been getting an increase in video's skipping / jumping due to what I'm guessing is a slow transfer speed. For a while I thought it might be due to my internet connection at home, but even when I'm at the office with everybody home (yup, gotta love deadlines...) this keeps happening.
I'm in Europe, Amsterdam to be precise. Any chance the CDN's not keeping up? I'm using HTML5 progressive video btw. Also, Chrome, MacOSX.
"If you're interested in keen insight into game quality, I suggest you go to the Giant Bomb website. Those guys are pretty good, they're pretty honest."
Kinda cool to hear him say that on his GameTrailers hosted show. Stick around for a pretty horrible (but maybe a little fun) faux hiphop video featuring 'the Pach'.
Incredibly sad news. Like many I have never met Ryan personally and yet I feel like losing someone who is very close to me. Thank you for your amazing work for Giant Bomb. Your humor, laughter and wit was an inspiration. I can honestly say you will be missed tremendously.
