GTA 3 possibly had the biggest impact any third game in a series had. It changed the series, and in many ways changed gaming.

For me though it is MGS3. Easily one of my favorite games ever.

I played the song, "My City" by Common in front of my english class for some project.

It is barley a song, more of a preach on top of lose music structure. It is a good song, but it is not something most people would expect to play to a all white class room, especially from a white student like myself. By the time the song was over everyone was dead silent and my teacher said good job. I sat down to no kind of response from my class.

That is bottom of the barrel stuff for me, I will have to think of some more. This thread has potential to be gold, because there is no better place for awkward moments then school, especially high school.

As someone who is not a fighting game kind of guy either I say go for it. I always wanted to play fighting games, but always found them to be to far over my head.

It is easy to learn because the controls are simple, and they offer so many different ways for you to learn the game. There are tutorials, practice rooms, etc.
Even if you dont do those everything in the game starts off at a ground level, the story mode, challenge tower, and everything else. So if you just jump into
one of the random features of the game you are sure to catch on with what to do. If not as I said there is plenty of other ways to practice.

The long term appeal all depends on if you manage to like the game or not. There is a ton of content in this game, but of course it is all related to just fighting
dudes. My suggestion to you is to download the demo and try it yourself. I tried the demo and literally played it for about 2-3 hours total just messing around
with the different fighters.

Personally I say try the demo, if you like it, buy it. You seem to be in a similar situation I was and I can tell you I am having a hell of a time with this game.
Good luck duder

@Gilbert64: I dont know if this is obvious, but I am an American, born and lived here my whole life. I was happy to hear about Osamas death, his death was 100% justified and I wouldn't have it any other way. I was just bothered when I turned on the TV and saw how people were reacting. I can't see how this event can be comparable to VE or VJ day because this doesn't mark the end of the war. Maybe we will pull our troops out of Afghanistan, but there is still Iraq, and more recently, Lybia. There is far to much shit going down in the world to be celebrating the way people did, especially over the death of one of many evil bastards on this planet. The day our troops are out of Iraq and any other country we are fighting in is the day I will be out on the streets with people chanting USA, not after we managed to kill someone.

If a credit card gets stolen, you simply call the issuer, have a new one with a new number sent to you, and sign a simple affidavit stating which charges are fraudulent and that's the end of it. It's happened to me a couple of times over the years and was never an issue to get resolved.

That's basically my experience with Debit Cards, though. "
This for me as well. My family has had some fraudulent charges put on their debit cards and either the bank let us know or we noticed it and they removed the charges. "
Yeah, my bank's super good with that shit. The day someone used my card details, they shut the account down and called me. No idea how they realised it wasn't legit, either. "
They will do so if it is suspicious to your usual spending. I went to New York last year and I tried to use my credit card to only have it denied. Before I could even try again I got a call on my cell phone from my bank telling me that someone is trying to use my card in NY and that they thought my card was compromised. I told they what was up, they reactivated the account, and that was that. It is pretty impressive/crazy how fast and effective banks can be, but that is what they need to be.

I said the exact same thing in another thread. It is just gross how people are reacting. When watching news clips of people celebrating I couldnt help but feel ashamed that people are acting the same way our enemies did after they took down the towers. It doesn't matter what Osama did, this kind of celebration is not warranted.

Celebrating the murder of 3000 civilians is the same as celebrating the death of a terrorist leader? Really? "
Its the idea of celebrating death like that in general. The people celebrating the death of american civilians were celebrating their deaths for the same reasons people celebrated the death of Osama. The attribute Americans, all Americans as the scum of the earth and the harbingers of their misfortune and the death of some of their people. People celebrated the death of Osama because he orchestrated the killing of a lot of Americans. Both groups have their reasons for celebration, and I dont find either of them to be good enough. I am glad the scum bag is dead, he brought a lot of pain to this world. I just dont believe that running to the streets and chanting USA while holding signs mocking the man are a way to react to the situation. I think people should be thankful he is dead and mourn the people he killed.

@Everyones_A_Critic: Those dumb college bros are the future of our country. While every generation has its fair share of smart and dumb people, it is not right to just shrug off the idiots and say, "They are just idiots, they wont matter." Guess what a certain college douche ended up running the United States.

Although it sucks the game was cancelled, especially for the developers who busted their ass on the game, I cannot say I disagree with the reasons it is canceled. Look at the games coming out this year and next year. I think this game would have had a hell of a time when open world games like La Noire and Infamous 2 are coming out. It would have been DOA.
