That was well put together but it relies on more fuzzy logic than people accuse the actual ending of containing. These theories are a fun diversion but they lack any sort of credibility.
Amazon fucked up my release-date shipping again so I won't get the game until tomorrow. Once I get my hands on it, I'll come back with some impressions.
@BPRJCTX No, you're missing my point. SFxT is a complete game. The quantity and quality of content is heads and shoulders above a majority of the other games in the genre. It is not 80% of a game, it is 100% of a game. All the DLC is doing is giving the biggest fans a chance to get 130% of a game later down the line.
Showing your squad members dying is much better than the plot hole of how they somehow escaped onto the Normandy imo.
Get momentarily incapacitated by the shockwave of a Harbinger laser, fall back, hole up somewhere, call Joker for evac. Makes perfect sense to me.
That argument is bad, you see them on the ground, blood everywhere, not moving at all, and if I remember correctly some of them have their eyes open. They look done.
I see that argument made every time somebody wants to defend BioWare, it's a gaping gap in the fiction.
Ok, I'll concede that if your party is there bloody and dead then you're right, it makes no sense. I never noticed them when I beat the game.
