maybe its just me, but i realized that there actually is big tournaments happening this weekend and saltybet is deciding to keep doing its own mugen thing. I guess betting on real people in a tournament was just the stepping stone and they decided to not to do that anymore.

SaltyBet was a lot more fun when you could actually bet. It's blown up so fast that the site is now a constant mess, and I keep logging in to find that it lasts for about 10 fights before it lights on fire again.

salty plz...

sad thing is you can see the stream numbers dip way down, everytime the site goes down.

Well think of it this way; unless a sequel utilizes a new game engine or comes out on a new system, ain't it all technically a mod anyway? People don't really play Saints row for the story, they play it because its bat shit crazy and they just turn it up to 11 here. While it may seem just like a DLC or really cool mod; it is probably the best mod you will ever see with an actual DLC storyline and everything.

Which is why I'm going to wait til it gets like 10-20 bucks on a steam sale and get it then.

thing is, for some characters, some builds are like the only way for them to be reasonably good, or only reason why they are considered useful or helpful at all. I can understand some deviation if you can actually back that up with some logic like, I'm not going to go bkb but instead some kind of big armour item because most of the enemies are physical damage type.

But if your usual play style is to say get a lot of ganks and be a carry. Except this game you picked a support character because it was what the team needed, then you are kinda expected to play like a support and not try to steal the kills, being a carry just because that is what you are used to doing.

To answer the original question; tinker's best build does involve boots of travel. Sure, all the other items may be up to debate based on whats happening, and who everybody else is; unless you can justify why your item choice is better than the norm, or at least an alternative, you are better off sticking to the norm.

Don't get me wrong, there have been times when I face palmed at the screen telling myself we are going to lose, but just didn't say it over the chat (because I didn't want to be an asshole) but when that weird build that i thought sucked starts winning battles or contributing to the team like I didn't expect (cause I ain't no expert in the game either). Looks like I was wrong and so glad I didn't say that stuff outloud, lols.

is it so bad that i thought at the end of the trailer I thought the roller coaster instead of looping over to the beginning would just fly off the tracks and crash like how i made all my coasters?

@pdxsonic: Silver Samurai won the tourney, though his AI went retarded during most of the Kim Fight (maybe a different Silver Samurai or something).

Wait, won the tourney? IS all this ai vai an actual tourney? Where's the bracket?

When i first started playing it was gyro all the way. In the beggining game you would be dumb to go 1v1 against him with no creeps around. and later in the game he only gets better at jungling and pushing lanes. Sure at best he's only a semi carry since his rocket barrage tapers off, and the rest of his stuff is great at team fights but not really a big threat 1v1 later on unless properly farmed.

personally i loved him becasue I would help out in team fights, being able to counter push lanes as well as push lanes, but the overall main carry would still be someone else so when I was in the noob phase, it wasn't expected do all the hard work.

but now I just play whatever hero fits the team dynamic as much as possible.

I wonder what the math is on all of the different versions of SFIV, but I'm guessing that for all the games, updates, and DLC it would be at least 200 dollars. For a fucking game. It's exploitative.

At 15 bucks per DLC (if you have the original disc and just want to keep up) and being the 5th time they did this thats 5*15 = 75 bucks spread out the 4 years it has been since original release. Or at any time if you lost old disc, never got into it til now or something, you can jump in for 40 bucks everything updated. Tell me again how its exploitative, or just at the very least not let your blind rage from telling lies to make yourself feel better.
