Games Completed in 2010 and 2011

This is purely for my own benefit, so I can keep track.

End of 2010 total: 54... Too many, I vow to beat less games so I can play them to enjoy them, not just beat them.

List items

  • (PS3) This one was a game I started before 2010, just before because I got it for Christmas, yeah it's a long game so completion happened in 2010. Amazing game.

  • (360) I played this on 360 because my brother had it because he found it for £5 somewhere. I thought I would play through it because of its history and to get some points. For the record Jeff overrated this game.

  • (PS3) Loved this game, by far the best Ratchet game on the PS3.

  • (360) Took me a bit to get into but as soon as I was in a adored it. An amazing campaign, firefight is excellent and a good excuse to play more Halo 3 online. Love it!

  • (PS3) Purely for the platinum trophy, played it through once on hard. Bad game.

  • (PS3) Great campaign, challenging but in a good way. Story sucks but I had a really good time with it.

  • (Wii) Hilarious! Short and easy yes, but disgustingly hilarious.

  • (PC) Really enjoyed the game but console version would have been better. The ultimate Batman experience, I'M BATMAN!

  • (360) Played entirely round a friends house, really fun game. I went through numerous spouses and had a really fun time.

  • (360) Took me a few hours to warm to it but as soon as I warmed to it I fell in love with it. Yeah the Mako sucks and the RPG elements needed stream lining but what a story. Also I really liked the gameplay, most elements of it anyway.

  • (360) After pulling an all nighter to complete Halo 3 on Legendary with 3 mates I had Halo fever. I had never played the game in its entirity before so I decided to just do it. What a game, the ending is sucky though as we all know.

  • (360) Wow, LOVED IT! I loved Mass Effect but this just improved everything.

  • (360) I played loads of it back in the day but this is the first time I played it fully. I never had it but friends did you see.

  • (PS3) Simply fantastic.

  • (PS3) The best FPS I have played, end of.

  • (PS3) Still great, not Half Life 2 at its best though.

  • (PS3) Better than Episode 1, truly fantastic. But come on, end it on a cliff hanger for the next episode! The episode that was supposed to come out in 2008 or something. Damn it.

  • (PS3) I have very mixed feelings about it, some bits I liked a lot, some not so much. I didn't get drawn into the world at all though.

  • (PS3) This game was hard! It doesn't like checkpoints, at all. The health system is punishing due to the sheer ammount of enemies and long bits where it decides you don't need health. Trialt and error gameplay, it was an ok game though.

  • (PS3) Yeah I beat Oblivion. Loved it.

  • (PS3) I am the MadGod, apparently.

  • (Wii) Phenomenal, one of the greatest games ever. The best platformer I have played.

  • (PS3) I liked the game a lot, but I didn't love it. It got very repetitive and the story had some great moments but was underdeveloped. Visceral Games clearly loved Bioshock, which we all should, but ripped the wrong things from it. A solid game but nothing truly fantastic.

  • (PC) Looking back through my old PC library I realised that while I watched my brother play most of this game I never actually beat it. That is no longer the case.

  • (PS3) I actually really enjoyed this game despite myself. Fun shooting, lots of explosions and optional stealth%3B the best kind of stealth.

  • (PS3) A fantastic game, sgane to say I came to this so late. Challenging and frustrating yes but so many moments of pure brilliance.

  • (PS3) Truly fantastic, better than the first. Man I love it.

  • (360 and PS3)I feel justified adding this. I have seen the entire story for every character in the game.

  • (PC)A friend with a high end pc kept inviting me round so I could play it. The Korean parts are awesome, the alien parts a tad tedious.

  • (PS3)A great game, it really dragged towards the end but still a really great game.

  • (PS3)Simply superb. Unbelievably awesome a fantastic ending to such a great series.

  • (PS2) The first game I've beaten on my PS2, and I loved it! Really awesome game, has some Rockstar issues but probably my favourite Rockstar game. Not as good as RDR technically, but way more fun.

  • (PS2)A magical experience and a true classic. Combat could have been better though.

  • (360)Drill bucket! An awesome 2 hours, slicing zombies up was fun but so were the actual missions.

  • (360)Pretty darn incredible, really fun campaign and excellent multiplayer. Almost as good as Halo 3!!

  • (PC)A really fun and very amusing game, great co-op.

  • (PC) My introduction to the Monkey Island series, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

  • (PC) Still good fun, some slightly obscure puzzles though and too much walking.

  • (PC) The best one so far, it was just awesome.

  • (360) Disappointing, very disappointing.

  • (PC) A lot of fun zombie shooting action!

  • (PC) Steam sales, a pretty good shooter%3B if a tad boring.

  • (PC)A good bunch of humour and some cool story revelations.

  • (PC) Well that's monkey island done.

  • (PC) £3.75 on steam sales. Surprisingly it was a super fun game, way short though... and repetitive.

  • (360)It was alright... I will leave it at that.

  • (PC) Fantasic, I was wary going in but I loved it.

  • (PC) A lot better than 3! A really fun game, hasn't aged that well in places though. That's Fable finished though.

  • (PC)Phenomenal.

  • (PS3) Relaxing, but a bit of a rip off.

  • (PS3) A tad disapointing, but still really good.

  • (360) Awesome.

  • (wii) The day is New Years eve and Goldeneye is complete. That means this really quite fantastic game is the last game I will beat in 2010... 54 games!

  • (PC) It is 2011! First game beaten. No way near as good as Heavy Rain, too ambitious for its own good and with a story that goes from cool to just... stupid. However I really liked it.

  • (PC) Really good fun, just when it gets repetitive it throws something else at you. A fine game and a fun little distraction, watch out though it does get addicting.

  • (PC)Some of the puzzles were a tad too hard for me, but mostly I was fine. A good fun game.

  • (PC) Enjoyable, but still has the same Crysis related issues. Also my steam version was pretty buggy, lots of annoying visual quirks. Great game though.

  • (360)Really fun game... things explode.

  • (360 and PS3) It may be about 5 minutes long... BUT I STILL BEAT IT.

Come on, Earth would have died without me!

  • (PC) A whole lot of fun. Man the story and dialogue are bad, but in all fairness there is some interesting stuff. And it is so much fun!!

  • (PS3) That game has problems... But is still so damn good!

  • (PS2) An utter masterpiece. The controls and the camera are not perfect, but the game more than rises above these small issues.

  • (PS3) That game was incredible!

  • (PC) Got this game the week it came out... Put off completing it until I kind of needed to to uninstall it for space. It was fine.

  • (360)GEARS OF WARR!!!! GEARS OF WARR!!!

    Game is pretty rad.

  • (360) Not as good as the first, there are some awful bits in the middle but the last act is super fun.

  • (PC) I'm not Fallout 3s biggest fan, but I really liked this game. Loved this game in fact.

  • (PS3) This game was just fantastic. I really loved it.

  • (PS1 (on the PS3)) I beat up the devil. I do not know why!

  • (PS3) Enjoyable, but overall a disappointment, too short, too easy and way to much terrible filler. The last world was just awful.

  • (PC) I'm not a CoD fan... At all. But I must admit this game has an excellent campaign. Not a fan of the glorification element, but still a great (if short) experience.

  • (PS3) Really loved this game, complete improvement over the first.

  • (PS3) Well that's the trilogy done. Great game, not as good as Sly 2 but better than 1.

  • (PC) This was just amazing, I love it so much. The perfect mini RPG, great for losing yourself in for a few hours.

  • (PS3) Just spectacular, an excellent game that tests your brain just the right ammount. The puzzles are not frustratingly hard but they are easy, which is just how it should be for a puzzle game. However, the end was so abrupt and was a let down to me.

  • (PC) It's just Breath of Death but bigger and with some cool improvements. Also completely addictive and amazing.

  • (PC) Repetitive, shallow and just kind of boring. Doesn't live up to the Watchmen name at all... But neither did the movie :P.

  • (PS3) That was a really fun challenge, loved it! I can be a real fighting game fan now.

  • (360) Shao Kahn was haaaard, really long game! Really loved it.

  • (Wii) I got this Christmas 2008, and really enjoyed it. Bar the awful werehog. I then got stuck a few months later after a super fun, but hard bit, and just left it for a year. I then got further and got to the final boss, hated it and gave up. Now it's 2011, and I beat it :P.

  • (Wii) So I'vee been breaking out the Wii recently, and this is a game I played a bunch of when I borrowed it a while back... But alas it had to be returned, and it wasnt on my Wii also that I played it. So I finally got round to doing it on my Wii, truly excellent. Not as good as the sequel, but still amazing.

  • (PS3) I finished the MK story, the DC story and I beat arcade mode. That is a completed game. Really enjoyed it. I'm not so sure about the games balancing but its still a fun old game with a cool story mode.

  • (PS3) I really loved this game, pulled an all nighter to play it and beat it the next afternoon. It has some objective faults but it more than rises above these to come out as something just excellent.

  • (PC)Finally got round to completing this game, it is borderline broken in places but fantastic in others. I hate to say it, but it's a tad overrated. Maybe not overrated as such for it has a lot of groundbreaking features, it's just that it has a lot of flaws that everybody just overlook.

  • (PC) Hated it, had a game breaking bug which meant I had to start the game again as Niteowl also. This game just dragged on and was never really fun.

  • (PC) Picked it up for £2.50 on Steam, really enjoyed it but nothing special. A good fun way to pass a day though.

  • (PS3) Fantastic soundtrack, fantastic story, fantastic characters and of course humour. The gameplay was the one loose end, but by the end I liked that also. However it was not fantastic, it doesn't introduce itself very well and lacks some focus.

  • (PS3) Completed 4 games this week, has been a busy one indeed. Really enjoyed this little title, but was to be expected... I love God of War. The HD collection gave me the chance to play this and though it has its drawbacks, it's still an awesome game.

  • (360) That game was very, very good. I love Gears 1, and I like Gears 2, but I adored this game. Best of the bunch, great campaign, surprisingly good story. I wish more was tied up, but still a good sense of closure on the series.

  • (PS3) The best PSP offering of Kratos fun, an interesting and tonally different story to usual and the usual awesome gameplay. Well that's God of War finished, what a series.

  • (360) What an excellent game, just superbly designed in every aspect. It was an emotional experience in places but this was back up by solid gameplay. A true gem.

  • (PS2) A true modern classic, unforgettable, beautiful and simply superb.

  • (PS3) Though it's not as special as Killzone 2, and worse in a few ways, still a super great game. The shooting is still oh so satisfying and the campaign, though marred by some bad variety and an awful story, is still really fun.

  • (PS3) Really fun ass game. Great shooting, fun levels, pretty non-existant and weak story. Still great though!

  • (360) That was a quality game! Really well made, great experience. All 360 owners should snap this one up!

  • (360) I definitely don't have Giant Bomb crew style love for this game, but I still liked it. Didn't care for the story or characters at all and the controls could have been better, however it got really fun and there's a lot to do!

  • (360) I don't like this game, I don't think it's well made. I'm talking about the singleplayer here, the multiplayer is fine for what it is but isn't my style. I just felt I had to play it, so I did.

  • (360) An astounding game. Adored pretty much all of it, Rocksteady once again show everybody else how to use a license.

  • (PS3) A fine, fine game. Not the landmark that Uncharted 2 was, but still an amazing adventure.

  • (PS3) What a bad campaign. Also full of bugs for me! Didn't enjoy this at all.
