Im so happy there is a part 2 because I found part 1 legitimately exciting, even though I knew everything in it.

You should just do an endurance run, probably only take 3-4 weeks

Watching this has made me appreciate modern save systems.

The classic Resident Evil trick of dying on purpose to avoid backtracking!  So much nostalgia...

Great series. I love these things. Daily content that's super funny and good. Really smart idea, you guys.

Oh man, the ending had me spitting out my drink in laughter. I KNEW a zombie would jump out, but not that Kessler would die to it in a split second. Awesome stuff guys, can't wait for next episode (AND DAMNIT RELEASE MORE THAN ONE PER DAY)!

This is back when ammo conservation was a must in RE games.  I, too, playing it for the first time, tried to
kill everything and ended up completely out of supplies. Nostalgia'd.
 
Good thing you picked Jill, too. Chris' scenario is even harder.

Y'know this is a game I've played a lot of and it's very interesting to see people go through it without knowing where anything is or how the game controls.

There's so much you guys missed, but the only thing that got me was that you didn't pick up the ink ribbons laying on the bed.

Take this really powerful weapon, which is actually ammo for a gun you haven't found yet. Good luck! 
 
Loving it. Classic style Resident Evil games will always be some of my favorites.

As great as this series is. Kessler really fucking sucks at this game.

GOD watching people play games which I have already finished a looooooooooong time ago can be so frustrating! Check the goddamn bed in the saferoom Kessler!

Also it varies how much damage each zombie takes. I feel like reaching throug my screen and grabbing that controller to show them how it's played.

Yup. Rule of thumb: Click on anything that sticks out from the background, as in is polygonal.

This is so much better than watching one of these scary games without audio commentary. I couldn't sleep when I watched the first Clocktower playthrough on some random youtuber's account, but this I can experience fear without that after effect. Thanks guys!

I see Resident Evil 4 pretty high up on the ladder there, but I think 1 is scarier. And above Dead Space? No no no no no.

are they playing through the entire game? this stuff is fantastic. watching these guys walk right into death traps when you know it's going to happen is amazing. 

I've never played the original RE so I don't get the perk of being able to yell at the screen at you guys, but I do find this to be extremely entertaining and funny. You guys have been the main reason why I've been visiting the site lately!

Kind of want you guys to move on to some newer games.

That made me laugh so much. They're really bad at the rules of a survival horror game. It makes it a lot more entertaining.

I really wish they did the Gamecube version of this though, this is about the scares not so much a retrospective right?

Gamecube version is a little bit easier, and is a lot more scary since the atmosphere is so much more realized with updated graphics.

Oh yeah, and the burn the zombie corpse mechanic is just rad in it.

If this was actually hosted on the GB website it probably would currently be the best thing going on it - keep it up guys, the ending was hilarious.

I am really liking these Fear Gauntlet episodes.  I read that you are open to suggestions.  If you are interested, I think you should do Manhunt.  It is one of the creepiest games I have ever played.  Keep up the great work. :)

I remember how pissed I was when Barry gave me Acid Rounds and I couldn't use them. I was all psyched up for a weapon and instead I lose an inventory space. F' that, man.

Anyways, I don't know how much longer you guys will spend in Resident Evil town... but I hope you guys at least get to something gigantic.

Love it, these are only getting better. The end to this one was great.
