So last night I wondered, "Why do I have a monitor and a TV?"

Problem solved. 32" 1080p monitor (it was/is my TV). Now I can watch TV on my PC on my TV and play all my PC games and old emulators (with the proper aspect ratio, though) in 1080p. Win.

I don't actually think I could ever even use a tv/monitor that big. 24" widescreen is enough for a single screen for me, and I can handle dual-screens, but that big would make even me feel like a midget :-|

Actually, resting my head on the headrest-thing on my computer chair angles my head directly at the TV. Pretty comfortable actually. :D

What size was your old PC monitor? Doesn't something that big drag your PC down? That's a lot of picture to cover. To tell you the truth, I could live in front of that and play and play and play.

He has a PS2, but no PS3. That caught my eye. And that PS2 is the old one not the slim version. He also plays the Wii without the condom, but he does use the strap.

Wait, was the 360/Wii/PS2 already near the PC area? If you had a monitor and TV on top of each other or in the way of each other, then yeah, that could be annoying. However, that is a bigass screen for a monitor. It will work, but lean back a bit when you play it ;)

Vizios have better feature-sets than most Sonys, yet they cost less than some cellphones lol.

They cost less because they use inferior parts & aren't put together well. They have the highest return rate of any hdtv's. Why do you think they're so cheap? Wow, we have nearly the same TV except I coughed up extra cash so it would run 1080p. Looks great runs wonderfully, never quite realized
how good 1080p looked until I bought the TV and compared it to my old SD TV

I do use the Wiimote with the condom, I just had to change the battery and sync the Wiimote from a friend's house, so I didn't get a chance to put it back on (mostly out of laziness).
And yeah, I still have my phatty PS2! I plan on getting a PS3 soon to fill out my trifecta!
My old monitor was a 19" widescreen at 1440x900, and this runs at 1920x1080 at 32".
I ended up going with a Vizio because the one in our living room, a 47" I believe, has been running just fine with no problems for a full year now. I also liked the crazy choices of inputs, and it was reviewed fairly well.

I'm happy with my 22" 1080p monitor. I have a 32" for games and TV, but it's just too big.
