I would love for this to happen, although I don't expect it to in the near term. I would love to have friends of mine play games like Persona 4 who haven't been able to because they've packed away their PS2. Atlus seems too small to be pumping out PC ports.
Someone else might have to back me up on this, but I'm pretty sure you'll need the new one. As far as I'm aware, the new controllers use a different type of wireless communication which the old receiver does not support.
For now, but it's probably not going to be in there much longer. If I get a smaller case down the line that thing's the first thing to go. If I need an optical drive for some reason I'll just get a USB one.
Well, I'm hoping at least as much as the 3DS (what's that, four?). Something to consider is that the size of the central piece is large enough that you could feasibly fit a rather large battery into that thing. If it's just running on a Tegra X2 or a modified X1 and outputting at 1080p, I could see it getting at least five without too much trouble (maybe some screen brightness adjustment).
Has it been said whether or not the screen is LED-backlit? That could make a big difference.
You know, I'm not sure. As someone who hasn't picked up a PS4 yet because I've been waiting for certain exclusives to release such as FFXV, Persona 5, and Horizon, the Pro is looking mighty tempting. Not because of the 4k "capabilities," but more to do with the improved general visual quality and framerates.
too bad the server was broken during this stream though. After playing the demo i didn't care for it much, granted it was alpha but the graphics and framerate just weren't good enough for me. The world didn't really feel interesting either
That has the perfect preview image of everyone just looking completely disappointed at what isn't happening on their screen.
