" you have an xbox in your office? "

Hell yeah!
Perks of owning a business i guess :p

This game is glitchy as hell, brought the game home and played the first level, saved it and took it back to work the next day, now its playing fine, try and work that one out! this is the first time i have seen anything like this, i have played most of my games on both systems with no issues, i would like to point the blame at the office console having issues, but it has never done this before (infact it is still under warranty) and has still never done this with a game since.

I do wonder if its a problem with the combination of memory card for my game saves/profile and usb flash drive for title updates (pointless having a hard drive for the office machine, we dont usually bother with dlc/MP games on it)

The home machine is an older elite with a hard drive.

I did notice that you can not play xbox originals on a machine without a harddrive (tried one at work with just with a usb stick) so maybe that is a contributing factor, shoddy code maybe?

And yeah, i agree its terrible, i paid £7 for it for a new copy and think i was ripped off :/

Just picked this up this morning. (x360 version)

The game starts, and informs me that i can press the left stick to move about, i press the left stick, the game freezes and locks up the console.
I restart the console, then restart the game, and try pressing the stick right, freeze.
 ?
Bugger.
Restart again, but remove, memory card and usb drive, just in case, game freezes within 5 seconds of the prologue level starting.
What an utter pile of shit!

I will take the game home with me tonight (i am in my office at work) and try it on my home system, but i suspect i know how this is going to go down :(

Ohh yea, i forgot to add.

I have logged around 153 hours in Arma 2, and around 50ish in Arma 2:Operation Arrowhead.
The SUPERIOR choice IMHO.

I preorderd Dragon Rising for the PC and was annoyed when it arrived a day late, you can imagine how i felt when i finally got to play it :(

Utter gash.

Played through the campaign to mission 10 (iirc) i remember the missus coming into the office as saying

"well, hows your new game"
"ITS FUCKING SHITE"

Gutted :(

I recently reinstalled it when it was cheap in the steam sale, as i figured some more people might be playing it, so i dug out the disc, installed it, joined one game and was disconnected, oh wait, i remember why i stopped playing this now, fuck it!

Browsing the local games shop a few days later, i saw a 360 copy for 5quid, so i figured that maybe the 360 version had better multiplayer, ohh how i was wrong, nobody was even playing it LOL, think i managed to force myself to get to mission 3 and gave up.

Left the game at work for my staff to play on the office 360, they all said it was crap as well.

Just pick it up for the PC in one of the steam sales, its a reasonable game, the server browser is horrible though, some of the ping counts i get are crazy, and i have a good internet connection for this part of the UK (7.5mb down and 1.5mb up)

I can play any other game in my collection and get great ping results, but L&G always tells me that my connection is crap, damn, i usually get picked as host for most matchmaking games in the uk on XBL (especially Gears 2 for some reason)

4 total play throughs in Mass Effect 1 (2 on pc, 2 on 360)

Second ME2 play through on 360 just about finished (everybody else loyal but not met legion yet)
WIll buy the story DLC as the game is great, but i will never support silly dlc like gun packs.

Hmm i am quite interested in this, i always thought that i hated RTS games, but i loved Dawn of War 2 and was suitably GUTTED once i had completed the campaign and my hard drive failed  :(

So i never played it again, although i am currently 11 hours into Chaos Rising and still loving it, seriously people, do you think i might like this game? (never played the original)
