not enough bandwidth, the market would shrink if thats the way they wish to go.
technology for outputting graphics is becoming cheaper.. bandwidth technology has not caught up yet and it wont in that time-frame.

@hayt: depends on time, Neuvo Castile wasn't rediscovered till way after the invasion.. and it is even believed that the Umayyed forces themselves that came to the castilians were fleeing/lost expeditionary force of clan wolverine

either way backstory has no effect on the actual story itself.... but I would like to one day see a story rich RPG set in the battle-tech universe... well I can hope for it.

@hayt: if they did they would have also known about the clans well in advance of the invasion ?

@hayt: neat story, but I find the option of a noble family from the deep periphery doesn't really work canon wise in the setting and place were the story takes place
specially if you consider that the region where you character family is supposed to be from is basically the other side of the galaxy map, and that place wasn't rediscovered till way after the clan invasion.

their not worried about the kid and more worried about the effect the kid has on the party.

They all seem overpriced for whats in them, all the intel cpu's ones are not even the latest yet the price for the systems seems excessive for parts that were released last year.

I am not saying build your own PC if you don't want to.. but perhaps look at other places as well before you buy anything.

Also CES is next week which usually means lot of new products announcement, which results that old products/versions will drop in price.

so wait a few weeks perhaps and check again.

I like haptic feedback in controllers but force-feedback is better, wonder if they could actually make controllers with actual force-feedback?

these days you only see force-feedback in steering-wheels only, as not even new flight-sim sticks come out have force-feedback, nor do most games support it anymore for older joysticks that have force-feedback.
