I started listening to gaming podcasts, thanks to 1UP and Hotspot.
So, thanks to Jeff G for that. I will follow him wherever he goes.

Hope he will still do something public facing, not working for gaming companies behind the scenes.

I've finished LA Noire, it's still an amazing game. I want a LA Noire sequel, maybe take place in New York or London, or maybe make it more like Mindhunter.
I think I will play Astalon next, that metroidvania game.

Older licensed games are typically not good. E.T. anybody? Or Dennis the Menace? Exceptions maybe to Disney games, e.g. Ducktales, Aladdin, etc.

They were aimed to entice parents to pick them up during holiday season for their kids based on brand recognition, not on quality
They've definitely become better in the past decade or two. Hell, we even got bangers like Fast and Furious™ Crossroads.

It might be directed by Neil Blomkamp, right?

So maybe it's a story about Shrimps (derogatory against aliens) learning how to drive car with Gran Turismo™ 7 game (+microtransactions) and get their license while wearing a backward baseball cap ala Piccolo (which also an alien, car spoiler)

Death's Door.
I got to the last great soul area, and I just couldn't like this game.
I will replay LA Noire next, and probably Ever 17, the visual novel, after that.

I want JRPG for:

• basically shounen manga with many characters

I want action adventure for AJIN, and visual novel / investigative crime series for Kindaichi

• Souls-like
• Metroidvania
• JRPG
• Point & Click Adventure
• Visual Novel
• 3rd person action game (e.g. Devil May Cry, Resident Evil 2)
