I definitely enjoyed GTA 4 a hell of a lot more. SR3 had it's moments and I had a lot more fun than I thought I would with it.

Having said that I found the majority of the missions pretty boring, there were some gems in there but plenty of boring stuff as well. The gun play was uninteresting and the vehicle handling was flat out horrible and the perpetually accelerating engine noises really bothered me. Much like Sleeping Dogs I just didn't enjoy getting around due to the vehicles feeling horrible to drive.

I know many didn't like the handling in GTA4 but I found it to be nicely weighted and a hell of a lot more satisfying than in pretty much any other open world game.

I thought it was pretty good for the most part, except for the open world. I don't think I've ever seen another open world game with so little to do in it, felt absolutely pointless.

You really don't worry about graphics when you're fighting off a boarding crew, putting out fires and trying to blast the crap out of enemy sub systems. In the heat of battle there are far too many things to be concerned with for you to take in how the game looks (which I really like btw).

The game is fantastic value and the different play styles associated with the strengths and weaknesses inherent to each ship plus the equipment variety and random nature of the game make each play through different. It really is one of the bargains of the year.

Love Uplay, I'm looking forward to the day when each and every publisher has their own separate bloated drm shop that I have to install in order to play their games. Origin, Steam & Uplay just aren't enough. It's about time all the other publishers caught up and gave me the opportunity to install more pointlessly stupid bullshit on my PC.

There was a time when I would have bought the latest Nintendo console just because it was the latest Nintendo console. I remember buying an N64 plus Golden Eye despite the fact I would have to eat instant noodles for the rest of the month to get by. I did feel kinda screwed by their pricing policy of first party games on N64 and GC, but the lack of third party support for those and the Wii mean that I honestly can't see myself buying another Nintendo console. Sure this one appears to have a technical edge over the console opposition (in the short term) but I generally feel so let down by Nintendo's track record over the last decade that, and it honestly does pain me to say this, I just don't care any more.

In my case I think that despite the overwhelmingly obvious, I was still hoping for some semblance of a happy ending and cut his arm off despite knowing it almost certainly wouldn't save him. My one armed Lee did however look like a total fucking bad ass cleaving his way through the horde to get to the hotel, would have been too easy for all you two armed pussies!

Stealing the supplies from the car, I figured the owners were probably dead but it was Clem's reaction that had me regretting my choice. Morally I had no issues taking what we needed to survive but I hate letting her down.

I don't know how long the prompt was off the screen for by the time I stopped mashing the strangle key, wasn't taking any chances with that nutter.

Thinking back over episode five it still seems odd that Vernon's group took the boat. His people didn't look like they'd succeed in hauling that boat down to the water, especially with the Zombie influx

that the train seemed to have brought with it.

I was blown away with shock with the Duck/Katjaa scene in Ep. 3, but Lee and Clem's final moments together hit me way harder. I didn't shed a tear, but I did well up a bit and felt sick pretty much, just sat there processing what had just happened as the credits rolled. No game's ever made me feel like that, hell, most games don't make me feel at all. GOTY.

"I'll miss you"

That's exactly how I felt, definite lump in the throat watching Clem and Lee at the end of Ep 5. I can't think of any game I've ever played apart from this that came remotely close to having that effect on me.

Just loved the relationship that was built up between Lee and Clem, there were some wonderful moments along the way and I was just gutted that she had to lose Lee as well as her parents. Also a bit pissed

that there was no confirmation of who those silhouettes belonged to. After being put through the shit like that I just wanted to know what happened to Clem not have it left open to conjecture.
