@Dark_Lord_Spam: I'm with you on that. There may be a few players in the other starting zones, but the balance of the population will be so heavily concentrated in the sylvari and asuran starting zones due to the novelty of new content that it isn't even funny. Really. It isn't funny.

You know you guys, the wipe isn't a terrible thing. Terrible things come from not wiping ... you dirty heathens.

I too can confirm that there may or may not be a third thing.

I don't mean to blow your mind here, but you can hit the max level by maxing crafting professions. The only combat required there is fighting the prices of goods on the trading post. You can spend the entire game flipping commodities on the trading post without leaving capitol cities should you so choose. From what you wrote I'm guessing you didn't investigate the crafting system much if at all during your time in the beta, but it's actually quite robust. It's far better than what I dealt with in WoW.

But hey, if it's not your bag, it's not your bag. From your description it sounds like the only game that interests you is EVE, so I suggest you just stick with that. I found my time with it to be pretty dull personally. Different strokes for different folks.

It's not very unique other than being free to play- even though it has microtransactions.

That's how free to play games subsist. Microtransactions. The company that makes the game and the people it employs have bills to pay. The way they have implemented microtransactions is completely harmless. No buying of power. The guy with a credit card can't buy his way to superiority and nothing he can buy is essential to gameplay.

For $5? Absolutely. Brotherhood was probably my favorite, but AC2 is still very solid.

Edit: And Mirrors Edge wins the community vote by a landslide. Everyone should play that game.

Looks like everyone will be creating asura and sylvari this weekend. That's probably all I'll play now. Sylvari ranger and asuran engineer coming up!
