The science conversation going on in this video actually made it hard to breathe. So very good simulation of the cold vacuum of space there.

I just can't get over the mass murder. The "heartfelt" story shit just doesn't fly with me when Drake is a murderous son of a bitch throughout the story. All that realism works against itself when you can't figure out how to make a game without the guy slaughtering hundreds. At least in TLoU murder felt brutal and bad. Here it's practically played for laughs. Nope, can't do it.

Why the hell are some of you saying Nintendo get a free pass? They take a fucking POUNDING every time they fuck up! They get ridiculed and hung out to dry damn near all the time! This game is getting bad-to-middling reviews everywhere!

There's nothing wrong with Fox McCloud. Fundamentally StarFox has lots of potential, anyone who's played any of the good Ace Combats know there's tons of fun that can be had with a whizbang planeshoot. But this just seems too sober and clunky to me. If it were up to me I'd have loved to see Platinum just go full Bayonetta on it, utter craziness, mad scale, punched difficulty. Fuck the nostalgia, just make a great game. Those characters are still cute/cool looking and even that lowpoly esthetic could go very cool places.

I just think they tried too hard to make a StarFox game and not a great game with StarFox in it.

The outposts were really annoying but this game is still the most immersive and interesting of the Far Crys. Incredible sense of place and so much fun with fire.

I loved this article but the word "skinship" never ever got more comfortable in my head no matter how many repetitions it got. I sincerely hope I never have to read it again haha

I loved this review. I am enjoying the game a LOT but the technical issues seriously do detract in amazing ways. Even with all that stuff ironed out there are things to this game's design that would still make it a 4/5 at best for me (mostly the way information is doled out in constant "surprises" making restarts almost required for progress), so I think a 3 is very fair.

Maybe this game just demos really poorly, but it looks super boring to me. I also wish the characters would actually shut up more, there's something about the writing that really detracts from the landscape. I dunno, it just doesn't resonate with me, even though I love the premise.

I really, really like this game an awful lot. Dumb shit aside it's genuinely unnerving in that 90s video production way I wonder if anybody would be able to replicate today.

Whoever made it were so willing to go all-in, just zero fucks about propriety and political correctness were given. It's such a crazy thing. I hope this series continues to the conclusion because the implications of the story go SUPER over the top in a pretty wild way.

Can tell Austin was upset here given the number of grammatical errors and missing words
