Mortal Kombat X moves forward with a snappier version of the previous game's fighting and some cool new characters, but the story and other features around the edges feel a bit rough in spots.
The ways that Axiom Verge resembles Metroid help set up and drive home the ways that Axiom Verge is most definitely not Metroid.
Hotline Miami's thrillingly brutal gameplay is stretched to the point of breaking in this aesthetically pleasing, but otherwise disappointing sequel.
Honestly, if you are alright with this, you have no right to complain about microtransactions. Ever.
The washed out colours make this look like an Xbox/PS2 game. I am not a fan.
I think this looks really funny. :D
Can't believe they're actually charging for this. Better mods have been given away for free. This is very shoddy indeed.
Started out thinking this looked a bit trite, but ended up very impressed. Will likely buy this when it comes on deal.
This is barely a game.
I quite like the interface, but what they've lost is the illusion of freedom granted to the player by not giving them direct control. I'm not much into Telltale's games, but as a PC guy, there's no way I'd want to play this on my computer. It has been designed around a game pad; there's no getting around that.
Started out as a sick burn; ended with the joke being on them. The game looks rough as hell. It's all in the playing, though, so wait and see... I guess. :/
All I'm seeing is that they took away the sandbox feel of their previous games, which is still pretty scarce in the FPS field, and made CoD with super powers. It's not exactly surprising that people are disappointed. Hopefully the single player proves to be more interesting and open.
