@Sunspots: Enchanting is extremely powerfull. At the highest level it is effectively a force multiplier, making everything way too easy. So beware. There is even no need to use the alchemy/enchanting to increase each other, it tops out at a point anyway. It will make your shit better for sure. But it's not necessary. As far as Azura's star goes I found it funnier to not give it to Azura. Black soul gem's are rarer. And human souls are way tastier :P

Lol, duly noted.(The tasty human soul part). It seems as though the case with all of the skills getting maxed out and lv capping your character does afford your avatar the godlike status. Is it game breaking? Or is it a reard for time invested in getting to that point?

I had a dream last night. I was playing Skyrim co-op through the story with 2 other friends, much the same way you would with Borderlands. My friends brought with them the characters they had been working on with them, I was playing my mage and with me was a thief and a warrior. The only change on the game was a bump up in enemy lv, and the increase in dragon encounter. How awesome would this be? I want this in the next Elder Scrolls game, I want to see Borderlands like co-op built in. Sorry for going off topic.

@Sunspots: if you've been focusing on alchemy - you could make a potion "fortify enchantment". then drink that potion and enchant some gloves/hats/jewellery with "fortify alchemy". Then wear that stuff and make another "fortify enchantment" potion, which will be stronger this time. Then drink that potion and enchant some new alchemy clothes.

If you have the patience and the materials you could keep doing that - it's a good way to level up your alchemy and enchantment. You'd end up with a potion that would fortify your enchantment by a a lot...which you could then use to enchant some armour/jewellery with something actually useful.

This is something I did not consider, therefore this is amazing advice. Do you by chance know of the ingredients needed to craft the fortify alchemy potion? I have discovered the fortify enchant ingredients, but I am pretty sure I do not know the fortify alchemy.

@Green_Incarnate: Cool. It seems like everything lvs quickly in the beginning so when I feel like tackling it, I could just grind out my enchanting skills. There is very little motivating me to want to at the moment, having come off of playing Skyrim for a total of 15 hrs in the last 24 hrs. I need a break and having to go to work is the only thing that will tear me away from Tamriel. By beginning I mean the beginning of the skill.

@Sunspots: Ohh.... I read that link I pasted you and assumed that he would enchant for you if the skill was low enough, maybe the option just has him tell you to do it yourself no matter what... Sorry.

:) no worries.

Also @Green_Incarnate and the suggested Deadric quest line seems worth doing to circumvent any soul gem harvesting in the future.

@Sunspots: There is a guy who can enchant stuff for you, he is in the mage's college at Winterhold. You have to have access to the college to talk to him through, which means you need enough magic skill (or speechraft) to get past the lady guarding the bridge.

I have been the the college and I'm pretty sure I know who you speak of. The problem being, when I approached him he told be to basically figure it out myself. At the time, that was enough of a barrier to entry to have me move on, (I was in the middle of a few things I needed to take care of and didn't want to get too sidetracked).

Interesting, I'll leave that to tickle my imagination and keep a look out for said quest. I have to say, I am really enjoying the mage class. I'm almost wondering if, at high lvs are a little over powered? Or perhaps unbalanced?
