Battlefield Bad Company 2 is THE game to get for PC multiplayer gaming right now.
If you want a single player game that strains your PC's ability to run it try Metro 2033.
Open world single player game? Get Stalker: Call of Pripyat

RTS? Try to get your hands on Starcraft 2 Beta (pray you get accepted), if not then Dawn of War 2 & its recent expansion "Chaos Rising"

Definitely not at the same time so far, think more devs are just sticking w/ Steam achievements due to its overwhelming market share.

Diablo 3, all the mid 20-30 gamers will probably pick this up for nostalgia sake (me included), as well as all the young Blizzard fanboys & WoW addicts since its more of a RPG unlike SC2.

@dboyz692002: Doubt you need to preorder cause of demand as you've mentioned.

I've never had any issues preordering from Gamestop in the past, quick in & out unless its a major release day for some hyped title. You definitely need to preorder at Gamestop if you ever plan on picking up any PC titles from them on release day otherwise it's always console versions. They don't always have the best prices so I'd check online 1st prior to purchasing.

This should probably belong on Endgadge but I'm curious what the Giantbomb community think are the better apps?

Plants vs Zombies runs pretty well on this btw lol

Differences:
360 version releases on the 13th.
Only runs at Res: 1024x576.

PC version releases on the 27th.
Contains Ubisoft DRM. Ugh.

Based on your desire to deal with DRM or not and convenience to play with friends for the coop, it's probably the more logical and safer bet to go with the 360 version.

For the music composers, almost always the relevant links can be found off their pages based on their work. Just sift through it and you'll find it or think major titles
