It's kind of funny, when I was a kid I though Blizzard was amazing. I was always a pc gamer first, and in the span of like 3 years Blizzard released Warcraft, Diablo and Starcraft. It really just seemed like they churned out great new games non stop. 15 years later though, and they haven't come out with a single new IP. I don't mind sequels that build on series, lord knows I played a bunch of Ultima games. But those all evolved in leaps and bounds. I couldn't even put up with Starcraft 2 because it was so primitive feeling, I will say though I enjoyed the new Diablo, but I just can't agree that Blizzard is one of the best in the business (unless you are into MMO's). If you had asked me in like 1998 though, sure.

I always liked Rome: Total War more than the rest. The type of units from that era just seem to fit that games engine so well

I actually chose 5 thinking 5 plus the player character. I prefer it in games like Baldur's Gate where you have to use your extra numbers to protect your weaker guys like your mages as opposed to having 4 guys with very strict combat roles. I just don't like the idea of a warrior being relatively crappy at doing damage, but great at standing in the middle of a dogpile doing a silly dance that angers the badguys. I don't hate the idea of a tank, just the idea that the enemy is dumb and will keep hitting on the guy that is tough to kill but relatively impotent while the mage and rogue burns everyone down. Tank's should tank because they are actually dangerous

There is a a new lineup of mobile GPU's on the horizon, so wait and see what comes of that. There is some rumored benchmarks out there claiming the new Acer Aspire bested the alienware mx14 in some key games like Battlefield 3 using the new 640m gpu. If the Aspire's keep their price tag, I twill be something like $600-$700

There is a lot of things to consider other than specs too. You have to consider things like quality of the build, how portable is it, etc. These things are personal preference, but you'll have to do some research to figure out what balance you want to strike. MSI offers some awesome specs for prices lower than Asus, but I've seen reviews saying they have substandard keyboards and make your lap hot. Are you only going to be gaming at a desk? If not size and heat generated could be an issue. I like to take my laptop to bed sometimes and I don't think that would be realistic with a 17.3 in Asus

I'll throw a vote in for Clive Barker's undying.  Kind of old today, so it might lose some of it's scariness on that though.  I didn't think Dead Space was scary, great game just not really scary.  Your guy is a killing machine, and the monsters playing dead became a double tapping nuisance more than anything after you first saw it.

hmmm I dunno, it looks like watching the world form in front of you all the time would get a little tedious

my greatest achievement like achievement was probably getting everything in all 3 of the spyro games
