Living in SoCal, I associate Transplants with the mid-2000s white kids from the Inland Empire driving lifted trucks, plugs, with iron cross tattoos yet appropriating durags and cholo attire. Seems like this culture died off with Myspace.
LA resident here. I followed their route in Google Street view and it's bizarre that they had to pick up their badges in a back alley warehouse not far from Skid Row.
