This whole thing has been a complete and utter mess. We need some new legislation or SOMETHING to protect fair use on the internet. Very sad to see so many people with innocent intentions being hit with these content ID notices.
I literally had to do a double-take. This is unbelievable. I was so looking forward to finally meeting him next year at E3, and now that will never happen.
Ryan, you were what got me to connect with Giantbomb and everything you guys stand for. And I'm so happy I'll have all those quick looks, endurance runs, and other awesome videos to remember you by. This has been an incredible accomplishment and I'm so sad to see you go. Rest in peace, buddy.
Duder! I didn't realize Spelunky was on PC, and free, too! I thought it was just for XBLA. Just downloaded it. Thanks for the tip, Patrick!
Edit: Also, I'm with @Rirse about that endurance run. Would LOVE to see that. I think it fits perfectly for the kinds of games that have Endurance Runs currently on GB.
I agree. E3's focus has been all over the place, and somehow the people that really care are being left by the wayside in order for companies to sell to a completely different audience than the one that made gaming popular in the first place.
@liste3r_fi3nd: I saw a screening about a month ago. It was fantastic. Very moving and an awesome look into the creation of some of the best indie games available. It was cool to see the lead up to the release of Fez as well, because it was still in development by the time the filming ended.

No that was a "fuck", mixed with Activision's Tony Hawk. A response fitting to the story outcome. I would have said "it's about time"... but it really wasn't.
