Really though, if the world ran on Blizzard or Valve time nothing would get done. Ever. We'd be an extinct species in a matter of months.
There's no way that we'd hit that deadline. It would take years for those months to play out and then the extinction would get pushed back at the last moment for "polish."
I think this game is proof that platformers have benefited from the introduction of sweeping slash moves rather than piercing attacks. Seemed like the character controls like something out of the Genesis. That's not entirely bad, but could prove to be unnecessarily frustrating if that's the only kind of attack you have in the game.
