I'd say Final Fantasy 11, but if you're going for pure difference between expectations and reality Far Cry 2 stands as one of the most disappointing recent games I've bought.
I've been taking it slow and playing several characters. I don't have anything over 25 so theres probably a lot of annoyances that I haven't hit yet, but I've had a good time so far. It isn't quite KOTOR 3 but I've realized that I'm a lot more tolerant of MMO -ness when it's set in a universe I like. I play a couple hours a day and hadn't really played a MMO since WoW, so I haven't gotten burnt out.
With the voice acting and high quality of the art assets, coming up with regular releases of new content is going to be the biggest bottleneck for the game. They'll probably have to merge servers and cut down subscription prices (or go free to play at some point) but if you play in moderate doses it's still a lot of fun.
The idea of a Fallout MMO was fucking HORRENDOUS! The point of Fallout is that it's a desolate post-apocalyptic world. Why the FUCK would I want my desolation to be populated like that of an MMO? It makes zero goddamn sense.
The death of this MMO is something I can celebrate greatly.
This kind of hits the nail on the head. I don't want bunny hopping brotherhood knights crowding up things while I try to collect mutant heads for an inane MMO quest-that doesn't feel like fallout. You could probably do a Dead Island/Borderlands style single player/co-op game and have it feel more natural.
Wait what!? Jar Jar is in Return of the Jedi... I'm never watching those Blu-Ray editions of the movies lol.
They pan over the different planets after the death star II gets blown up, one of them being Naboo. You hear pretty clearly "we-sa free!" shouted from the celebration.
I've been bad about this, it's hard to ignore the shiny lightning bolt icon that pops up on your buddy's steaming corpse. Just a quick run out to revive them can't see anyone in front gotta revi-

Well done video, consumer accessible special effects programs have really been put to good use recently.
I do hope we see characters from the older games. The original San Andreas was my favorite from that series (though VC was a very close second) because it re-created my home state and had some really enjoyable RPG elements. The missions were often infuriating, but you could buy property, race through the wilderness on dirt bikes and ended up dogfighting above area 51 and strapping on a jetpack. As someone who enjoyed Saints Row 2 more than the overly serious GTA IV I hope that they return to the spirit of GTA: SA for this next one. And eventually I hope we do go back to Vice City.
