The Greatest Games of the Sixth Generation
As much as I loved the generations preceding it, the sixth generation is probably the one I most fondly look back at. Many great game developers reached their creative peak during this generation and they also had some (for the time) great technology to work with. I originally set out to make this a top ten, but quickly realised that there was simply too many games to choose from. However, I will only permit one game per franchise to keep things interesting. In some cases, I chose enhanced versions if they made enough difference. No remakes of older games, though!
