@qraham: I went to PAX Prime 09 & Bethesda wouldn't let you take pictures at their booth.

A lot of the companies don't want pictures or videos of their games out and about... outside of the show floor, I think anything goes ( in terms of being photographed :P )

Mine has been since well before the Update. I don't even remember the exact date.

Not the end of the world, just annoying. I'll suck it up and call MS.

Really? That is really weird. How is your NAT?

Open. XBox is set to DMZ. IT's been rather annoying. I've even tried Google DNS and stuff... no luck.

ok... so SLOOOOOOOWWWWW is probably an exaggeration, but signing in to my XBox Profile takes anywhere from 15 - 25 seconds. Slow, relative to the norm.

I've tried different XBoxes, different HDDs, I've recovered the profile again from scratch, I've Googled, I've binged nothing... anyone ever run into this?

Only think I think is relevant to mention is that I'm on a 25Up/7down line, I've got a Cisco SMB router that works great, and I'm the main account of a family account.

I'll probably try 4myxbox next, but I really hate talking to those guys, was hoping someone here had an idea.

Thanks in advance.

Great story Patrick. If the Fifa connection is just a coincidence though, that's a pretty huge coincidence.

It's not that it's a coincidence, it's just a way for them to get Cash out of the hack because people pay real money for these FIFA ultimate team cards.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p5197.m570.l1313&_nkw=fifa+ultimate+team&_sacat=See-All-Categories

Many of these sellers may claim that they're not infringing any policies, but that's untrue. Ebay is very strict about the ways that digital content and media can be sold, and these auctions don't hold up.

They can be reported via 'Listing practices > Compilation and informational items > Bonus with another item'.

Agreed... but people really want these cards and they pay for them right away before the auction is taken down... That's where the money comes from for the hackers.

You know what else is alarming... the number of people who say they filed a complaint, their accounts went to a 25 day investigation period, and 25 days turns into 50 or 75 because of missed information or whatever. Just how incompetent are the people doing these investigations? Or rather, how crappy is the system handling them? I can understand one or two getting information missed, but it's like everyone who went into investigation had to wait forever.

Could be an indication that the backlog of issues is larger than Microsoft is willing to admit. That sort of thing has happened before.

You could very well be right. Blaming it on co-workers being fucking morons is pretty harsh though.

@sw0rdfish: It has been 2 weeks for me, how long has it been for you? Also the last games we played were gears of war 3 and Fifa 12 that was the coincidence lol

OH HAHA. I actually played those :P I didn't let them investigate my account. I wanted to play so I just told them to Sod off. I just found it funny that their customer is telling them they have a major security problem, and that they were going to NOT look into it because I didn't want to surrender my account for 30 days plus.

My friend has been without his account for 50 days now.

oh wow so you played Fifa 12...... that just made my day. Thank you

I wouldn't call it play as much as I just get my ass handed to me, but yes I'm a soccer fan. Sorry to disappoint 98% of this board.
