As others have stated already, a fight is a fight, the age is irrelevant.

Maybe this is going slightly beyond the scope of your question but what matters is who started it, so we can correctly levy moral culpability.

If it is the initiation of force against another it is always wrong, it is violence and is immoral as it violates the non aggression principle. This action is wrong, and this person is always to blame.

However, If one is using force against someone who has violated their rights by initiating violence, then it is morally acceptable as it is correcting the moral transgression of the other, and is self defense. This action is right, and this person is not to blame.

Of course violence can, and should, always be avoided, as long as freedom of speech is respected and upheld by all parties... and provided children have parents that do their job and actually teach values and morals unto their child.

I love Mass Effect, but everything Bioware have shown of Andromeda hasn't excited me at all tbh. For what it's worth I didn't think much of dragon age inquisition either. Maybe Bioware has just lost the charm that made me a fan of their earlier games? I don't know, I'll withhold my final verdict until it's actually released obviously, but what is up with all the derpy characters?

There are always people saying things others think are toxic, or problematic, or whatever word people decide to use next. This will never change. There is a mute button for precisely this reason. If you don't like what they are saying online, just use the mute and the problem is solved, now you cant hear it. If everyone mutes that player then hes just talking to himself anyway which i find kinda funny to picture. I personally never report anyone for talking shit as it is so easily avoided/dealt with in the first place. I would only ever report if they were spamming my inbox with messages and refused to stop after i told them to.

To sum it up my attitude is largely "lol, look at this idiot" rather than "OMG TOXICITY!!!" Most people engaging in this behavior are either idiots or trolls out to get a rise out of others by being as scandalous as possible and by making a big deal out of it you are doing exactly what they want.

Just mute and move on with your life.

@cmblasko: That's probably why throughout this whole thread, and in the very post you replied to, I've stated I think a blanket ban is stupid.

@milkman: In my opinion this announcement is more than Obama did (or any other leader of the western world for that matter) in the way of an actual lasting solution, the west cannot just keep taking refugees indefinitely. That should be a temporary measure while we all seek to achieve a real, lasting result, such as safe zones in the local area for these people. They deserve safety in their own lands.

We all know you can't just snap your fingers and safe zones magically appear, it requires work, and the beginning of that is a dialogue with other governments in the area to start planning for that work which is precisely what President Trump has achieved here. I'm not going "woohoo, the problem is totally solved, let's ignore it now!"

I shared the story because I believe it deserves recognition as a positive step forward, no matter how you feel about the EO.
