Been a fan of the site for a long time. I've consumed almost all the content they put out on a regular basis.

I've never watched the Persona Endurance Run.

I watched it fairly late (end of 2012) and liked the chemistry between Jeff and Vinny so much I wanted to find every Jeff & Vinny Quick Look on the site. Turned out I had to make a tool for that myself.

I haven't watched it before because I despised anything anime and rpg related, but I ultimately decided to take a shot and couldn't stop watching it.

I highly recommend it.

Alright, I fixed podcast timestamps on profile pages, they used to load random videos instead.

You can add podcast timestamps again. I didn't realize I broke it some time ago, sorry.

The refresh rate and response time of that monitor should prevent any kind of ghosting whatsoever.

The only ghosting I've had to deal with has come from using a monitor cable that wasn't the proper gage for its length. I needed to get a smaller gage cable in order to get the ghosting to go away. You can read more about American Wire Gage as it pertains to AV cables over on Blue Jeans Cable (that's also where I bought my smaller gage cable).

If the length seems fine you might try simply rearranging your cabling. Sometimes having the video cable too near some other cable, like a power cable, can cause ghosting if the video cable's shielding isn't up to par.

This seems like the problem. What display port cable should I get? What gage am i looking for? Should i just get the one they sell on the site?

This is not the problem here. And doesn't apply to digital connections like DVI or HDMI. A bad VGA cable would give you a ghost image but it wouldn't be motion related. It would be there all the time.

Your monitor has blur eliminating features. A misconfiguration of those can fuck up your picture.

This monitor is capable of strobing backlight which is a new approach to eliminate blur/ghosting on LCD monitors. You can read more about it here.

But again this is a new thing and unless you've been using only CRT monitors in the past I don't know why you have issues with your current setup. Maybe it's simply a motion blur in the game? Or this game's refresh rate is a problem with this monitor. Try changing it to 120Hz.

Another possible explanation is that this game can't go beyond 60Hz and other games you've tried ran at higher refresh rates.

Well, they have two studio rooms that are separate from the shared office space. One of them which is rarely shown is the control room which can fit few people and a couple of mail boxes. But there are probably reasons why they won't do it.

I don't believe they don't want to do it, because Vinny has always been very nice and grateful in Mailbag videos and very often enthusiastically jumped in to participate in the ritual.

I never looked into PSP emulation. Anyone know how good that is these days?

It's pretty dang good if you've got a semi decent pc.

Think GameCube/Wii level emulation quality.

There's a good number of broken YouTube ids in their API and I assume they use the same ones on the site. But they are all already on their YouTube channel and work fine. I fixed them on my site by using a script which checks if each video can be played and, if not, manually getting them from GB's channel.

Here's the QL in question, works fine, but it's under a different YT id from the one on the QL page.
