Just to add a bit of context.

I have pretty much played every available PS3 game that I have even the slightest interest in and since I have no real life I'm incredibly bored. However after buying a ton of Christmas presents I'll have money to spend on a new console to keep me going for at least a year until hopefully the PS4 comes out.

My inkling is to get an Xbox as it's the cheapest and I have missed out on some great games over the past few years such as Super Meat Boy and Fable 2.

How ever the Wii U and Vita are still in their infancy so i might get more out of them in the long run despite them not having a lot on them right now.

Also if you guys could recommend some cool exclusive games for the platform you vote for that weren't on the ps3 that would be awesome duders.

@mosespippy: Thats what I ended up doing, I might be talking out my arse here but i don't think my tv will allow me to change the aspect ratio when I'm using a HDMI cable.

@FilipHolm: It just came out on Wednesday in Britain I think. Not sure about elsewhere.

So under the display options it lists an option for the game to be widescreen yet when i activate it the display stays as 4/3 and everything just becomes thinner. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem and how I can go about fixing it, if i even can.

I was lost in what to read after finishing the currently released ice & fire books but on a whim I picked up Animal Farm, Homage to Catalonia, and 1984 by George Orwell. Animal Farm was great and I'm really enjoying Catalonia, though I'm about half way through. I'm looking forward to reading 1984 because the John Hurt film is one of my favorite films of all time and so far i've really enjoyed how Orwell writes.

I think Dennis is a great character, he may be pointless as you say but he's right behind Vaas in the rankings for best character in the game. I'm disappointed he wasn't used more. I'd be up for some Dennis based DLC backstory.

My biggest gripe with the game is that it doesn't let you redo the last mission. I forgot to save before the final mission so if I want to see the other ending where I save Liza then I have to play through like 5 hours of missions and I'm not that desperate to see the alternate end.

It would be cool to get a new game + so I can play through the game on a harder difficulty with all my powers unlocked.

Play Twin Snakes instead of the original if you can it's got the improved mechanics of, and it looks a lot better.

Honestly with hindsight of the whole series so far it might be best if you play through it chronologically. It might be a bit hard though due to the varied array of machines they are on.

@GalacticGravy: A couple of weeks ago a contacted that email about a billing issue and ryan got back to me in about a week. Not sure if they have since changed it though.
