Game of The Year 2014 Users Choice
Ten games is easy to come up with, but ordering them was a bit difficult, and there are a few omissions that I'm sad about.

Best game I played this year, and the first time I actually went for 100%.
Having not watched the show in years, I still found more than enough references in this game to delight and offend me. Really fun throughout.
Probably the best platform exclusive I played on any console this year. Such a fun game to just play, and with a great looking style that was quite striking.
As someone who fell off the Diablo train after the first game, I was amazed at how much fun I had with the console release of this game. Many hours spent with my badass crusader.
Even though it was only the first part, I was completely sold on Double Fine's adventure game. This has made the wait for the second half unbearably long, as the cliffhanger was pretty awesome.
Such a pure joy to play, but also EXTREMELY frustrating but never to the point of unfairness, although getting your money back after a bad death could be infuriating.
Probably one of the best moments I had this year was during our Extra Life Stream where I "co-operatively" played this game desperately trying to look for fire before I bled/froze to death in the wasteland.
I really enjoyed this DLC - although technically an entirely new campaign was a really good evolution/refinement of the gameplay in the original game.
Such a weird game that I am extremely happy I played with friends watching, as I don't know if I would have pushed through alone.
Such a serious subject, and it was handled with care and a beautiful art style. Although simple in gameplay/puzzles, the ending really hit hard.
