Ugh I know how you feel, I have a similarly epic backlog. I put mine in giantbomb list form just so I would have any idea what I was supposed to play.

But if you're going to beat all of them, why not make it easy on yourself? You should determine how quickly you could beat each game and play them in ascending order, eg you would start with the quickest game to beat first and then by the end be playing the longest or most difficult. That way you'll have the sense of making progress from the very beginning and you'll have a really big "Out" pile.

Do "casual gamers" constitute a community, or just a market?

What are the terms of the paper and how long does it have to be? I think a decent discussion of korean eSports alone would be a good 10 pages for an undergrad. Research is disappointingly sparse, though.

If this is just a high school or warm-up paper or something though you should talk about DoTA in China and Southeast Asia. There's some interesting casual-hardcore gamer contrasts/dynamics in China, Korea, and Southeast Asia wrt who plays games like DoTA versus F2P MMOs versus, say, Starcraft.

You never know. I sometimes follow links to lists and blogs and if I enjoy it I'll just follow the person.

E3 thing is a good point. I think I'm sold on the 360 since it doesn't sound like RROD is guaranteed doom anymore. I'll wait for the conference(and see if I can snag a nice slim). Thanks guys.

I'm also happy to see that it still comes with composite video, since I'll still be playing in SD some of the time, haha. How convenient.

Well then learn how to ask a question. Better yet, go get a Wii and shut the fuck up.

Kind of rude, I only mentioned the PC in a little parentheses thing anyway...

The slim answers interest me. The price seems pretty rough though. Do you guys know anything about the hardware failure rates on the elites?

Let me clear, I'm not actually asking for opinions on whether to upgrade my PC or buy a 360. I'm asking about 360 hardware problems.

Hi, I owned a 360 a few years ago and ended up getting rid of it when it RRoD'd at me outside of the 3 year warranty. I'm in the market to upgrade my current gaming hardware options to the current gen(I will either upgrade my PC or buy a 360) and I was wondering about the prevalence of RRoD these days. My questions are as follows:

-Are there systems which are "hardware problem" proof?
-Which ones?
-How do I ensure I get one rather than another kind?

thank you for any answers.

IGN gave God Hand a bad review. That's unconscionable.
