I saw Flogging Molly last spring at Congress Theater in Chicago. They were awesome. I love me some moshing.

I saw Lupe Fiasco this fall (I actually found out about Steve Jobs dying from Lupe himself) and it was alright. I love rap music, but I discovered rap concerts aren't really my thing. The music is great, but the crowd is a little boring in my opinion. I prefer the chaos of a good pit at a rock concert.

Is this a list of all your favorite games that came out this year? Or your favorite games you played this year?

Because I usually run into this problem where I've played a lot of games over the course of the year, but very few of them actually came out this year. This tends to affect my ability to pick a game of the year, because I usually don't have that much to pick from. I'll often play games the next year and realize what would have been my game of the year had I played it 6 months earlier.

The games that reached you the most this year might not be eligible for Game of the Year, which is why I like the idea of your personal game of the year, the most important game you played versus the most important game released.

I got Gears 3 for $30, Dirt 3 for $15, and Marvel vs Capcom 2 off of XBLA for $4 (320 MS Points). Also, VVVVVV for only $1.24.

Overall, it went pretty well.

I guess this means I have plenty of time to go after those Torchlight 1 achievements. They might be in trouble if Diablo 3 beats it to market though.

I really wanna see this game do well, I loved the first one.

Counter Strike: Source for sure. Although I have to say it is one of those games I wish I played more. I just don't know how to balance all the games I have. I think part of the problem is my friends aren't really centrally located in one game (at least not after all of us quit WoW, I suppose I could count that too) so getting everyone together for some epic multiplayer doesn't really happen anymore.

I really love Garry's Mod as well, but I'm not counting that because I'm not sure if I can count "screwing around" as a gametype.

I'm always happy when fighting games come out on PC, and I will continue to support this. Hoping the netcode's good, but even if not, I will probably buy it.

I actually really love 3rd Strike. While I am far from good at that game, I never feel like I am cheated when playing multiplayer. Ass-kickings come often, but I almost always know why I lost, and that makes a world of difference. Most would say a record of 1-14 is horrible, and it is, but that one victory is more rewarding than any KDR I could ever get in an FPS.

While 3rd Strike's my favorite, fighting is one of my favorite genres, so I'm gonna give some shout-outs to some of my favorite games.
Def Jam: Fight for NY (Sequel please?)
Power Stone (Sequel / XBLA please?)
Much love for Street Fighters 4, Super Turbo, and Alpha 3
King of Fighters 2002 (I suck at you, but you're awesome)

I absolutely love my necro in the first one, so I'm thinking either that, or maybe a thief. The videos that keep coming out about it look pretty awesome.

Also, I'm probably gonna play Asura, I miss the tiny-yet-powerful feeling I got out of my Gnome mage. Everything is subject to change as we near the release though, I could switch and end up playing a Sylvari ranger or something, it's all about what I'm feeling when I hit the character creation screen.

 So I'm calling it now;
 Q4 2011 Diablo release
 Q1 or Q2 2012 WOW Expansion #4
 Q1 or Q2 2013 WOW Expansion #5
 Q4 2013 maybe TITAN....probably Q1 2014 though

I disagree with your timescale. Blizzard has been on a very clear "New Xpac every 2 years" pattern as of yet, and I see no reason why they would change that.

Personally, I don't think Diablo is coming out this year. I'd love to see it at holiday 2011, but I don't believe it's happening.

2012 WoW Expansion #4 makes sense, it's 2 years after Cataclysm. Brings levels up to 90.

2014  WoW Expansion #5 Another 2 years, another Xpac. Brings it to a nice round level 100.

Keep in mind, World of Warcraft was announced in 2001 (according to Wikipedia) and it was over 3 years before it was finally released. Here we are in 2011, and all we have is a codename, we don't even have an official announcement. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see Titan until 2015 or later, we're talking about Blizzard here. They will test the hell out of this game and that will push back the release. Consider how much WoW changed throughout its development. They won't put that game out until it is absolutely perfect.
