@lcompx: How are you using the advanced search? If you just pull up Advanced Search, and search for every video ever, then yes, the same problem seems to occur when trying to sort the entire Giant Bomb video catalogue.

But if I'm understanding the suggestion from @tarheels2302, they meant "use Advanced Search and pick a much smaller range." Don't search the entire video library of Giant Bomb.

For example, I searched for all videos from Feb 1 to Feb 29 2020. This range of videos is screwed up on the Latest Videos, but this range of videos seems to work correctly on Advanced Search. Some of the videos are jumbled around, but at least it's only showing February 2020 videos, and isn't pulling in random videos from 2019 and earlier. There are definitely no videos from outside the date range I specified, and hopefully it isn't missing any videos from that range, but it looks about right.

So don't do an advanced search that returns thousands of results. Narrow your search to something more specific. If you are trying to watch a specific period of the GB archive, try to remember what the date was and just search a month or two at a time. I can't promise this works, maybe the metadata in newer videos is more correct than older videos, but I tried a few months from this year and they all seemed to work.

@bisonhero: Yes, I'm searching for a specific date and going day by day.

I've been using the advanced search feature under the video drop down and using that to still go in order. Not a perfect fix but has been helping me in the meantime, if you happen to know what date you left off of you can do that.

Interesting. So I've been watching everything from the beginning and found this very disheartening glitch tonight. I was on page 312 but now I'm on 340-something and it's only trailers. All the series are gone. Please fix this!

Thank you for making me feel less like a crazy person. I've been re-watching all the videos from the beginning, on the side, and I was up to 2012. This bug has totally stymied me in doing that now. Love to see it fixed so that I can keep going.

I'm in the same boat, came to the site a few years after it started and am up to 2018. Love this community!

Yea, for me it seems like the videos are grouped by series? Like page 65 is all mailbags.

I think it's a great time. They've made more options available in the competitive modes so you don't have to stick to strict team make ups or you can queue up for a specific role if that's your thing. I've played Overwatch a ton over the last couple years and its been a great game for me to get into heavily for a few weeks and then take a break and come back to. They have a lot of events that make you want to jump back for skins or different game types. Give it a shot! Tarheels2302 on PSN if you ever want to play.

@pcorb:

Will video encoding still be an option with the i5 or more specifically for the build you mentioned above? Thanks again!

@pcorb:

So after some research I've done today, I had a few other questions.

First off what is overclocking and why would anybody need that or want that?

Second in your list of parts above I notice you went with the i5 as opposed to the i7. Would it be more important to have an SSD or a better CPU? From the original research I had done, I was set with thinking the i5 was fine for what I needed. I guess I'm just trying to see what an i7 would do for me over an i5.

Thanks again for everyone's help, there's a reason I come to this site all the time because the people seem great!

Thank you everyone! I think I have what I need now to put in some research and with everyone's suggestions, really considering trying to build it myself. I have about a $1,200 - $1,400 budget including monitor, keyboard, mouse and maybe some software. If my money can go further by building it myself vs a prebuilt, I'd rather build it myself.

As for what games I would want to play, pretty much anything honestly. I want to be able to play anything that comes out from a graphics point of view for the most part. On the video editing side, I want to do game capture as well as streaming. Is my budget in line with what I want to do or should I expect to pay some more? Thanks again for everyone's help.
