@Yanngc33: If it works like PS3 Plus, yes. You can play them online or off as long as you are a plus subscriber. However, once you let the subscription expire, you can't play any of them anymore. You never really own the games you get free from plus - it is more of just an indefinite rental, which, for the price, is still pretty cool.
Also, if you resubscribe later on, you get everything you previously had back again.
Kratos. I really like the way that they've incorporated elements of how he controls in his own games into this. I like that square square triangle does the same combo in this as it usually does, and I like that they've retained the way he jumps up if you hold the attack button on that one launcher move.
Still looks like a poor man's Smash Bros. Sony should have tried something original.
They did try something original. It plays nothing like Smash Bros. Why don't you spend a few minutes doing some research instead of pulling lies from your butt?
You must be ignorant not to see the similarities.
No, you are the ignorant one. The only similarities are that they are both 4 player mascot brawlers. The mechanics are completely different.
Now that's just silly. The game's director, Omar Kendall, even said at Comic Con that it would be ridiculous to pretend that this game isn't heavily influenced by Smash Bros.
Is this game heavily influenced by Smash Bros? Sure. As the game's director said at Comic-Con, it would be ridiculous to argue otherwise.
But the thing is, I love Smash Bros games, and they don't come out that often, so I hope this game is fun too.
I thought it was all right. Not as fast as Smash Bros, but I assume that's only because everyone isn't being launched all over the place very often. Seemed cool, though. Gameplay felt solid.
Thanks! That's good to hear. Where did you play it, if I can ask? I'm hoping they do a wider beta at some point. I'm not expecting the greatest fighting game ever (I'm not sure the fact that you can only score points through one of 3 moves per character will ever stop being odd) but I'm hoping for a good party game.
@Cyrisaurus: There will be downloadable costumes if you pre-order the game (you can check them out on Amazon).
So I assume that's day one DLC, but nothing to get upset about - it's not like they change the gameplay.
