@MarcusCoxus: Agreed, I think this delay definitely pushes that game out of this holiday season and in to early next year.

This game manages to address big subjects like love, death, mental illness and regret in a fairly adult and intelligent fashion without ever becoming overly dour or serious. It's the closest I've seen to a game version of "Up". Definitely worth your time.

I don't think that's the correct use of "brainchild". Maybe "mastermind" is what you were after there?

Nice story but did you really need six paragraphs before you got to what the actual problem was? Don't treat us like kids Pat, trim the fat!

@sawtooth: I was actually really hoping for the Groose/Ganon thing to happen. It would have had much more of an emotional impact than the actual final boss who's around for all of about ten minutes in the entire game.

@fenixREVOLUTION: I agree about the end boss not being around for long enough to make much of an impact. I was kinda hoping for something more along the lines of Demise taking over Groose's body to form Ganon and then having to kill Groose to destroy the evil. Would have been a more fitting end to Groose's story arch- from rival to companion to sacrifice for the greater good.

Also I can't be the only one who figured out who Impa was a couple of dozen hours before it was revealed?

Turns out the girl isn't Ellen Page but actually someone named Ashley Johnston, as confirmed via twitter. She is also doing the mo-cap.

I really loved Alan Wake, warts and all and if the Max Payne games are anything to go by, Remedy knows how to handle faster paced action than we saw in the original game. That trailer really doesn't give us a whole lot else to go on, especially with the crappy audio issues. Going by the title treatment this might have a bit more grindhouse feel to it which I can't say I'm too enthused about, but then again, I am a total Twin Peaks nut.
